    "Surprisingly predictable"

There was supposed to be a fake murder, it becomes real. How much more predictable does it need to get? Throw in also the murder mystery writer. With such cliched premises, it is hard to save the plot after that, no matter what twists there are.

    "Fantastic"

The fact that it has been years since I read this book and couldn't remember who the killer definitely added to my enjoyment however this was just an added bonus as David Suchet had me hooked from the very beginning and I shall be listening to it again very soon no doubt.

    "Masterful Suchet"

Even if you know the story and have seen the televised version, this book is a must just to hear David Suchet's masterful rendition of every single character. Sometimes you have to remind yourself you are not listening to a dramatized radio play, his variations and subtleties of character are so brilliant. A must-have just to marvel at a great actor on top of his form.

    "From a game to murder"
Where does Dead Man's Folly rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I enjoyed it but it isn't in my favourite so wouldn't really rank.

Would you recommend Dead Man's Folly to your friends? Why or why not?

    Not really.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I think he needs to speak a little louder in parts.

    "Very enjoyable"

This is not my favourite Poirot tale, but was beautifully performed and intriguing as ever. Like an earlier reviewer said, it was a long time since I last read this and I too couldn't remember whodunit, so thoroughly enjoyable.

    "Wonderful as always"

While Dead Man's Folly isn't my favourite of Agatha Christie novel's, David Suchet's narration is, as always, wonderful. The author Ariadne Oliver is one of Poirot's more unusual friends and crops up from time to time in his books. When she summons him at short notice, you know that something interesting will follow.
