Great Book!

I really enjoyed the content of the book and the narrator was fabulous!! Can't wait to get another one.

Good book, I could not stop listening. Intriguingly suspenseful. I am an avid listener to her "Bones" series.

Brennan is a narcissistic

The story was well read and I’ve listened to every one of the previous books but… Brennan is just too much sometimes. She is smarter than everyone and incredibly arrogant.

This is book 17 in the Temperance Brennan Series

Another great book in the series. I like Katherine Borowitz performance of this book. The first-person-diary style of this book may not be for everyone but I like it.

The only bad about this book is that it is not listed as part of the Temperance Brennan series. Maybe it is because Kathy Reichs changed publishers.

Series like this must make a lot of money for Amazon and Audible, you would think they would make an easy way to subscribe to (or sign-up for alerts for) a series. I have spent over $200 on this series and over one thousand dollars on the other series I enjoy yet I need to log-in several times per month to manually check for new books.

If you are a fan of the Temperance Brennan series, I hope I am glad you managed to find this because it is definitely worth the listen.

Excellent mystery as always

Loved the reference to her own TV show. Story was great with the twist at the end as well. Loved it.

Not like the Bones TV Series

This book was my first Audible book by Kathy Reichs and I loved it. I literally couldn't put the story down (lost hours of sleep)! Temperance isn't anywhere close to the TV character. I'll purchase more books in the future. If you like twists and turns, you'll enjoy this book.

Great for longstanding fans of the series

Maybe not my favorite book in the series so far, but certainly worth the time to read (or in my case, listen to). This is book #17 in the series and unique in the way it picks up a thread resulting from the conclusion of a case which took place much earlier in the series. For longtime fans, this is a great call back. For anyone new to the series, this book's intersection with that earlier work is explained completely enough that one doesn't need to go back and read the earlier book in order to understand what is now taking place. Credit to Reichs in this regard. Authors too often make mistakes in the regard when they attempt something this ambitious.

If you could sum up Bones Never Lie in three words, what would they be?

Another excellent book about Dr. Brenan. The story has the right amount of twist and turns to keep your interest but not make it so over the top to be unbelievable. You still really like the characters and the arc that she has built over the years with these books. I like how she reaches back into previous books and stories so well to build this story.

What did you like best about this story?

I like how well I like this Temperance Brenan over the TV version. This one is still brilliant, but not arrogant and unfeeling.

What does Katherine Borowitz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Excellent narrator who reading brings real emotion and feeling to the book.

Unable to read books, so hearing them is wonderful. I enjoy the voice of the reader and her use of infliction to separate the characters.
