About time!

I am a huge fan of both CJ Box and Audible, it is about time they found each other. If all of Mr. Boxs' Joe Pickett series was on Audible I would download them all.

I have read and reread them all. I can not wait to listen to "Blue Heaven".

The cost of ill gotten money...vs worth

New group of characters for CJ Box but the ethics haven't changed. Greed trumps all in the lives of a few retired police officers/race track robbers. These men are willing to stop at nothing to protect their money and kill men, women, and children, to keep their stolen loot.
On the flip side of the coin there are a group of characters that have spent a lifetime being abused by their environment and people they thought could be trusted.
These are the circumstances that build to a hard conclusion to this story.

couldn't finish

Guns, bad cops, more guns, a beautiful helpless woman, other guns and murders. Good narrative if you like this sort of thing but I bailed out at chapter 16.

Tolerable

Tolerable both the story and narration. The reason is wasn't better was the giant plot hole that started the book.

I really enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great and I really am like the plot.

I was a little bit disappointed in the ending but it didn’t take away enough from the book that I would not recommend it to everyone. I think most people would really like it!

Slight spoiler alert

Good story, as always with C.J. Box. not one I would 'read' again because it caused a few tears and I like complete happy endings.

Mystery,human love and care with action inspired,people inspired to care. Held my interest from the first to the end pulling at my heart strings. Thank You for your time and work..

Very Exciting

This was a thrilling story with plenty of twists. I enjoyed the story and the reader was excellent. I woukd recommend this story to anyone who enjoys action, crime, suspense, this had it all. made a long drive seem short. I also ignored all incoming calls, not wanting to disrupt the action.

Narration was awesome, felt like I was watching the movie . Realistic fiction.

Loved the story, felt so real time/real life. Not much felt overly embellished. Enjoyed the characters.
