Awesome story

Love the continuation 50ish years after the first one. Lol. Now I have to start at the beginning of this series.

ANOTHER GREAT EVE DALLAS STORY

If you could sum up Big Jack in three words, what would they be?

GEMS, MURDER, DALLAS

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

YES, IT WAS WELL WRITTEN AND FAT MOVING.

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

EVE DALLAS - THE BAD ASS COP OF THE FUTURE. I ALSO LOVE HER INTERPRETATION OF PEABODY.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

EVE AND ROARKE REALIZING THEY'RE HOME ALONE.

This book is a repeat

This book is a repeat of the second half of the Nora Roberts book Remember When. It’s quite good. So here I am with two of the same book. Sigh

Big Jack

Excellent storyline and audio narration. Enjoyed this book and reccomend it, and series. Even though certain cases plague Eve nightmares, she still remains an excellent cop.

For Dallas fans, half a book is better than all

I like the In Death books, but I'm not particularly fond of the Roberts genre. So I wasn't looking forward to the first half of Remember When, in which the first half called Hot Rocks is a current day story setting up the back story to Dallas' adventures. I was pleased to find Big Jack available separately.

The book stands on its own, and has plenty of narrative to catch the reader up on events of Hot Rocks. It also contains some great In Death moments, including Peabody's attempts to adapt to plain clothes in her new role as detective.

Even better the second time around

I forgot I had read this book already and bought the audio version. Glad I did! It is one of my favorite mysteries in the "in Death" series and hearing the familar character's voices made it even better the second time around and I usually don't read/listen to books twice.

Bought twice

I didn’t realize this was the same as included in the prior story, 17.5. Oh well, still enjoyable. Audible customers ... Be careful not to buy twice.

Duped into buying this one

It's my own fault. I did not read the reviews of this book. I was curious that a J.D. Robb book about Eve Dallas was given a title without "in death" in it and I was looking for something to listen to until my credits were available so it is my own fault that I spent money on a book I've already read and I wish I had my $10 back. It's not about the story which was worthy as always, Audible should have made it clear that this book was sold as part of another book ( Remember When) in their description of this book.
