Story line great, narrator not so much

I love Kathy Reichs Bone Collector series. I did not appreciate this narration because of attempt at accents and talking out something occurring as an action. Will not buy another narration from Michelle Pawk.

Bare Bones

Ther 6th book in the Temperance Brennan series. Wasn't until the end did I realize Bare Bones is a pun. Great narration, as always.

Reich's delivers again!

Where does Bare Bones rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'm a fan of the Reichs books - I'm glad to see Ryan worked into the story again!

Wasn’t my fav

I love all her books especially this series. This was probably my favorite narrator. Love her use of accents

not quite up to par

I like Ms. Reichs works, but this one... not so much. There seemed to be a few too many characters and threads, making it hard to follow at times. Also, the ending is rather anti-climactic and unsatisfying.

What REALLY drops the stock is the narrator. The Southern accent she tries to affect is horrible! It sounds more like a mockery than an effort to imitate it. In fact, it's absolutely grating.

So I gave the book a 4, but the narration a 2.

Good Reading

Tempe Brennan, as always, puts everything together in the last few pages. Entertaining, although sometimes it is hard to keep the characters straight.

I enjoyed this story and the reading was excellent.

Suspenseful

Love this book and every book by this author that I have listened to so far! She can really draw you in and keep you hanging until right at the last minute. I have loved listening to the mystery and trying to solve it by all of the clues I have heard before she lets you know who the real culprit is!

Interesting read

I never quite know what I'm going to get when I open a Kathy Reichs novel. This time around, the book was a nice surprise. Well written and not too gory.
