"A gripping tale of 'mother love'!"
I found this totally unputdownable!!! It is one the best audio books that I have ever listened to and has already become one of my most played. It is performed with insight, skill and an obvious love for Christies written word. Download it and be prepared to shiver!!
"Hugh Fraser is a fantastic story teller."
Agatha's story's are as good as everyone says they are and this one, in my opinion, is one of the best. Hugh Fraser makes the whole book come alive, amazing talent.
You can never go far wrong with Agatha Christie and this is one of her best. As always Hugh Frasier is a brilliant narrator.
"Hugh Fraser brilliant as always!"
A great story that leaves you guessing. Hugh Fraser's narration is perfect as always and he does a great Poirot.
I love Agatha Christie and Hugh Fraser is an appropriate and familiar narrator. Speed, intonation and accents are all reasonable and this is a good undemanding listen.
"Brilliantly read classic Christie"
Excellent narration by Hugh Fraser. A classic Poirot story, set in Romantic faraway places. Most enjoyable and will certainly merit another listen.
"Appointment with Death "
Step -mum takes family on holiday, she won't let them mix with other people, then to everyone surprised she let's them, go off on their own why? ????
Each family member comes to a decision about their lives, insisting, that they spoke to the step mother, or did they as she's dead, but which one did it, or was it someone else, poor Poriot yet again on holiday, and is flung, straight away, into murder will Poriot, ever, go on holiday, without a murder taking place LOL
"A good listen"
A really good listen. Thoroughly worth listening to. I really got into the story and was engaged by it. I would recommend it.
