Good story

Would you listen to A Serpent's Tooth again? Why?

I don't listen to fiction again usually

Who was your favorite character and why?

The sheriff. Not flashy just solidly a good guy. Likable

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

Perfect voice for the main character and didn't make the women sound ridiculous

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no - fine to break it up

Another great listen in the WL Series

I think that I have become a bigger fan of the Walt Longmire books then I was of the TV show, which is where I became familiar with this great character. This book is interesting and focuses on a subject not tackled by previous books but I don't want to spoil it for you so I'll say no more. At this point in the series you're still listening because you're a fan, not just picking up here for your first listen.

Great story

I liked the story, the mystery and the romance. My favorite so far. Ridiculous rules for reviewing make not want to ever review again.

Great Longmire Tale!!

Another great tale of Longmire! Easy to see the story unfolding but it's a pleasure to read and listen to these novels.

Best story yet!!

This is my favorite Longmire story so far. The one liners had me laughing out loud every time. You can’t go wrong with Longmire, the Bear, Dog and Vic.

One of the Best

This is one of the best of the Longmire series. George Guidall does his usual excellent job narration.

Always a good story!

I started with the more recent books in the Longmire series and now went back to the older ones. This book like the others is a very good story with many parts that keeps you interested all the way thru. George’s narration is superb!

I have listened/read them all

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book to a friend. I do believe this may be Craig's best Longmire book yet! It was hard for me to put down.

Who was your favorite character and why?

As always Walt and the "Bear". Craig Johnson expands each character individually as well as the friendship with each book. It amazes me at the complexity, but yet simplicity he uses to develop the characters.

Which character – as performed by George Guidall – was your favorite?

Vander Ross............. quite the comical character, but I also enjoyed the intensity with which George Guidall expressed of the scene in Shortdrop between Walt and the Lanyer gang after the Sheriffs substation burnt down taking the life of Double Tough. It was as if I was part of the scene taking place before me.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This would be hard one for me. I watch the Longmire TV series and while I enjoy the TV show; I enjoy the books so much more.

Any additional comments?

I have truly enjoyed the Longmire series and I hope Craig will continue with this wonderful series.
