Extreme Lack of Diversity in Examples

Almost all examples given are of Sis White Males. In order to have comprehensive knowledge about the subject in which you are studying, equal representation within examples is a must. The author did not consider their audience at all.

Eh

An awkward blend of beginner information for someone who has never attempted to make music before, and a handful of bits of technical information that can be useful to one who does have experience. I understand that these books are about music, but between various grammatical errors and hearing things like "John McCartney" and "Smoke in the Water", I found it more difficult to take seriously (whether it was a lack of editing in the book itself, or the audible recording).

Not for producers past any point of beginner

This book is for someone that has heard of the word producer before and wondered what the function of a producer is. It explains the basic concepts of production, mixing and mastering. It does not teach anywhere near the master level of production techniques. I have been producing for 3 years and did not get much from this book.

Unlistenable Disaster

Zero stars. This book is an unlistenable mess. I can’t review its content because the narrator’s horrible presentation put me in a state of outrage. I had to stop. Awful.
