This was an amazing love story with Mystery. The audio was great.

This author does not have enough books to consume. Please give us more of these two and of new exiting characters.

Completely amazing stories

The narration of this box set is hands-down the best I’ve heard. The story itself is amazing from beginning to end. The character definition is amazing I am extremely hooked!

Love the characters Nicks evil and quips are just a cover for his softness and Ben is so good and adoring you can’t help but love him. And a very intriguing story line with some oh so hot sex scenes mixed in.

Brilliant series, worth listening to

Gary Furlong’s narration adds a lot to this already amazing series.

Lots of adventure, suspense, and hot m/m sex. These first three books in the series will keep one well-engaged for hours, days, and more. Highly recommended!

More than I expected

This was the volumes 1-3. I really liked the story for the most part and the characters. At times I got a little lost in all that was happening and had to go back and listen again, but for the most part it kept my attention. Some scenes were a bit gory for me but fortunately there weren’t to many overall. A lot of sex, bordering on too much at times which takes away from it in my opinion. I am going to get the next volume and see how it goes. 9 books about the same characters is maybe a bit much for my taste but we will see. Good value for a credit. Narration is wonderful.

Compelling strong gay character driven work

Very enjoyable to go through the intriguing stories as they weave through adventures and grow in their relationship.

Difficult read but several steps above typical M/M

As one of the reviewers commented, this should have come with trigger warnings for SEVERAL rapes and very graphic violence, including some that involved children. This is not the typical formulaic M/M romance fluff but involves several deeply flawed characters, many with severe violent personality disorders. This volume has a lot more in common with These Violent Delights than a Josh Lanyon romantic thriller. It is written very well and performed by a talented voice actor. It held my attention and the 20+ hours passed very quickly and I found myself extending car trips just so that I could continue listening to this audiobook.

Nik and Ben + Gary

Delightful spoken version of one of my favorite series. Gary does a great job bringing life to these characters

zzzzzzzz , oh wait, I was writing a review

Made it to chapter 5 prior to giving up. after chapter 2, I spead up the narration to 1.25, and that helped. The accent is fine, as is the tone and pronunciation. I took issue with the style the story is being narrated. I get the need for a "dramatic pause" or tone change for emphasis, but this was a bit much. It felt as if a gay erotica novel was being read in the same manner as a school teacher might read a fairytale to grade school students.
the story seemed to be pretty good. Maybe this book would be better on paper.
