Riveting Story!

Compelling storyline that in this day and age, could feasible happen in the not too distant future.

The narration performed was gripping with inflection that sparked the reader's emotions.

As a retired Naval Officer, I appreciated the author's accurate depiction of the military and its operations.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series of Monroe Doctrine! Well done!

The best saved for the last.

This volume was an excellent listen, especially compared to volume 7. I do appreciate that the story was wrapped up and finished. I'm glad I won't have to wait on “The Monroe Doctrine - The Rest Of The Story” series to see how things end. This volume was well written, and the pace proceeded quickly. I highly recommend this book.

this series is riveting to say the Least

This last week or so I have binge listened to this series, all 8 volumes, each time I listen to these stories it gets me thinking how perilous our world is and how close we may be to something like these scenarios coming to fruition....
I find these stories fascinating yet somewhat frightening as a mature (late 50's age) adult thinking about the world we are leaving for our upcoming generations.......

The best researched military action book that provides great insight into the new world AI. Great food for thought about our future.

Awesome final book to the series

This series has been great, and this final entry was riveting all the way through. I highly recommend the entire library from the author and his frequent collaborators. Looking forward to the new series on Taiwan!

Great end to WW3

I really enjoyed the story line of AI being a force to be reckoned with in this series. The research and detail that went into it was great. No misuse of military terms and thoughtfully laid out. The narrator did a superb job and didn't distract from the story. I definitely loved the series and the final book tied it together. Well done!

Interesting future warfare

I like the entire genre. The war with China is the last thing we want to have as Americans.

Final Book in Series Finishes Strong and Exciting

Monroe Doctrine 8 is the final book in the series. Just as MD 1 opens up and blows you away, MD 8 delivers a compelling ending to the series. The technologies introduced by the authors, political and military strategies, and small unit fighting are superb. The authors have a very good understanding of future warfare concepts and future tech coming to us in the next few years. In fact, when MD 1 came out around 2021, the role of AI was not main stream, nor was it a dominant research topic. This is three years BEFORE it became part of our daily lives - the authors were foretelling the future. The other notable to me is the subtle stories and dialogue details that only Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines would know. At the political-strategic level, the reader learns about many aspects of US government during a declared war. I read-listen to many military thrillers and the authors of MD 8 deliver a major home run. - Barry

Great finale to an epic series of books! So much detail and great narrator. I need to go back & listen to them all again.
