I'd like the series even though it can't get a little predictable I just wish that they would release the audio versions faster maybe they should consider recording three books at a time or something idk

Dark magic

Disappointed
I’ve been with this series from the start and have enjoyed it for the most part. However, this one I didn’t start liking until chapter 10. The previous chapters the characters spoke like an instruction manual rather than speaking. It was so bad that I would listen for several minutes and then skip ahead. If the author wanted to instruct on good eating habits or how knowledgeable the captain of the ship was, then include it in an action sequence or better yet write an instruction manual on the subjects. I love the characters especially Camu but I’m not sure if I will continue with the series because I don’t want to pay for the whole book and have to skip the first chapters before enjoying the book.
