Publisher's summary

I know who took my daughter. Only his mother can help me....

My little girl’s room is dark. Her bed is empty. I turn on her unicorn nightlight and bury my face in her pillow, my heart breaking.

I know who did this. His name is Samuel Barlow. He has pale sallow skin and red-rimmed icy-blue eyes. But no one will listen.

As darkness falls and rain lashes against the window, there’s a knock at my door and I open it to see those same eyes staring back at me. It’s his mother and she says she can help me find my daughter.

My gut feeling says don’t trust her.

But as hopes of finding my little girl fade with each passing hour, how can I turn away?

A completely gripping and twist-packed listen from the number one best-selling author K.L. Slater. If you like Liane Moriarty and Lisa Jewell you will be totally hooked on Missing.

Missing

I enjoyed the story. This narrator sounds like she's yelling at me. Quite irritating. There's no reason to sound alarmed over little things. Overall I thought it was good.

Great thriller

I enjoyed the drama between Sam and Janelle as the truth of what happened 15 years ago comes to life in a big twist.

Another great story from K.L.Slater!

Fantastic story, the narrator did a great job, only Complaint is the little girl voice could get a bit cringy at times, it was a bit scratchy, high pitched and hard to listen to at first.
The talent it takes to properly narrate a novel is immense, and Kristin Atherton otherwise did a fantastic job.

Great story

This is a very good story. I enjoy most of KL Slater's books, and this one does not disappoint. The narrator, however, occasionally sounds sleepy and monotonous, which almost made me stop listening. In total, she does an ok job, and the book is worth a listen.

Twisty thriller!

I loved this one. I have recently become a huge fan of K. L. Slater. She can weave a good story together and throw in twists that I didn't see coming. Although I was getting used to Lucy Price Lewis (who I love) narrating her stories, I enjoyed this narration by Kristin Atherton. My only advice to her would be to tone down her excited and distressed parts. They are screechy, loud, and annoying. The rest of the narration was quite good.

Unjust

Without giving away the plot, this story made me very sad in that it does not address the injustice suffered by one of the characters. I guess this author feels that some lives are dispensable. Let's have a little compassion, please

nicely done

it was very good although there were times I got confused on timelines and people. the narrator was good and the story plot slightly predictable but still surprising.

One of her best!

I love this author, she always gets it right. This time she hit it out of the park with the plot line and ending!
