Great story & narration
I really enjoyed Mine Until Moonrise by Jennifer Bernard and the start of her Lost Harbor Alaska series. The storytelling was great with wonderful characters, witty dialogue/banter and sizzling love scenes. Megan and Lucas’ relationship was not smooth sailing in the beginning, but things changed after a storm and passion brewed between them. I enjoyed how their relationship developed throughout this book. I adored Megan’s young daughter, Ruby and her interactions with Megan and Lucas. This was the first time listening to an audiobook narrated by Heather Costa and I enjoyed her performance. She did a good job bringing the characters and story to life and conveying the different emotions in the scenes.

Starting over
I loved Megan and Lukas’ story. Both of them are starting over in Lost Harbor Alaska. Both fir different reasons. Lukas is a native but hasn’t been back in several years. Megan is trying to find a new life for herself. The two of them start off on the wrong foot and go downhill from there. The one person that holds them on any kind of civility is Megan’s daughter Ruby. That is until a storm that was never supposed to happen did.

Loved this one!
I adored this book! It’s the first in a series based around a small town in Alaska. It was well written and kept me interested from beginning to end. I thought the narrator did a great job! It was so fun listening to this story come to life.
