Southside Men of Ink books 1&2

I’ve had these books on my kindle forever but haven’t had much time for reading so seeing them bundled on Audible made me so happy!

Maneuver is book 1 and it’s about Lucio Gallo and Delilah Miles’ love story. Lance Greenfield plays Lucio and was wonderful expressing a gravelly male voice of the caring and totally loving man who wins Delilah’s heart. And Erin was fabulous as Delilah. Their story is full of emotions and had me crying over all that happens to Delilah and to have met Lucio who’s got a heart of gold was heartwarming. I can’t believe that I haven’t made time to read or listen to any of the Men of Ink series before now.

Flow book 2 is Daphne Gallo’s story.
We get to know Daphne in book 1 and this book was exactly how I saw her spunky personality being. I really loved this book because it was so like hearing a current Romeo and Juliet movie with Leo Conti being from a rival mafia family. I so enjoy anything Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott do and their rendition of Daphne and Leo were fantastic. I can’t wait to meet more of the Southside Gallos but first I got another bundle to hear of the Men of Ink series before coming back to the Southside part of the family.

Chelle Bliss scores again!

I adore Chelle Bliss. Her story lines and character development are wonderful. Unfortunately, I had a really hard time listening to Erin Mallon as the female narrator in the first book. She has a pleasant voice, but the inflection she put into the reading was like fingernails on a chalkboard. I sometimes wonder if the other people in the recording studio ever say anything to the narrators? I listened to some of her other narrations and she sounded perfectly fine.

I loved the second book as well. Wen and Kai have always been favorites of mine. Will listen to just about anything they narrate.

First of all I must say a Chelle is one of my fav authors. With that said.......this series is everything you could want in one banging sexy time bundle. Daaaaammmnnn hot. Not to mention the story itself is to good to put down. I listened to the entire series in one setting.
The narrators knocked it out of the park. I read the books first, the audio brought it to life and mad it that much better 🥰

Exciting

I stayed awake to finish each story. CHelle Bliss invites the reader to experience and share the variety of sensations, perils, joys and more as the characters travel through their story.

Men of Ink

I’ll admit, I read the first book a while back and did not hate it but I didn’t like it either. Sorry, I’m being honest. After saying that, I gave it a chance and listened... hearing it made it so much better for me. I enjoyed both stories. I like the family dynamics, the closeness, and overall the intriguing storyline.
The narration was fantastic.

New series, great starts

This is the first two installments into a new series with a criminal, mafia-type twist in the heart of Chicago.
Total alpha men and strong women, lots of drama and angst. If you loved the Men of Inkd series, you will definitely enjoy this one as well.

All four of the narrators were great choices for these characters. Erin Mallon showed Delilah 's Sweet side and Lance Greenfield portrayed a no nonsense Lucio Gallo. Kai and Wen were a perfect dou for Daphne and Leo's star-crossed story.

South Side Book 1 & 2

Love this author and this series, I`ve read them all and enjoyed them immensely
Narrative was generally great, I`m sure many won`t agree with me but I don`t generally listen to Wen Ross.
He just isn't my cup of tea, and I hope no offence is taken, but this twin pack is one I couldn't pass up

Great start!

Great start to the Southside Inked series. Because of the fine choice for narrators, this is a very enjoyable and exciting new series for me to totally become hooked on.
