Fully invested

This was a steamy read but the characters were also so wonderful. I was fully invested in the storyline and couldn’t stop listening.

Lisa and Madeline at their best

Wonderful story of discovery and recovery. Lovely romance and blending of cultures. Have listened twice and will do again.

A hot start that leads to a warm feeling

As always, there was tremendous anticipation for this audiobook/book and now I’m completely satisfied.
It’s a beautiful mix of Gold and Taylor with wonderful characters, hot scenes and moments of tenderness.
I loved Aisha and Olivia! They are a beautiful, complex women that have to find their way in life!
This way is, as always, beautifully written and a pleasure to read and listen to!
Tessa Stavers was a delight to listen to, as always!

Great book

I loved the MC and how they were developed in the story. I thought the book was well written overall. The narrator was great.

A match made in heaven!

Aisha and Olivia were just what each other needed, only they were the last to know. Traversing their journey was refreshing.

Romantic and Steamy

I really enjoyed this duo of authors. The storyline was great, character development felt a bit rushed but it worked for the genre. And the sex scenes were fire.

The only reason I gave the performance a 4 is because it took place in London and the accent of the narrator didn’t feel as authentic to the setting as I would have liked. But Tessa Stavers still did a great job.

Worth the credit.

This was such a great book. I loved the MC’s they were written so richly and the build of love between them was sexy and sweet. Also narration was very good and really gave a voice to the characters. Will definitely go back and listen to this again.

Restarting her life after losing everything

Such a wonderful book about real good people. After losing everything, but her clothing and household goods Olivia shows such a strength of character as she rebuilds her life. Finding love along the way was just icing on the cake!

Redemption has never been so hot

This rich/poor girl BDSM pairing was very well done and enjoyable.

Olivia is a former socialite who lost it all when her father was convicted for misuse of others resources. Since her father's, and by extension, her, fall from grace, she has taken great pride in figuring out how to do things for herself and getting back on her feet. When we meet her, she works at a private club and is making enough money to get a studio in London. Olivia definitely went through a major growth journey throughout this book. Aisha Al Zahid is everyone's favorite version of an insanely rich person - she is kind to all, smart in her business dealings, and hot. She also assumes she will not be able to maintain a relationship across her dual lives in London and Dubai and is a not-quite-notorious playgirl with very dominant tendencies. Aisha immediately notices Olivia at the club and is intrigued.

The first meeting takes a little time to come to fruition, but when it does, it is steamy. The real gem here, though, is how both characters evolve over time, learning to let in the other, to trust, to relax their rigid boundaries to make it possible for them to pursue a life together. I listened to this book and thought the narration was good.
