A Decent Read

Probably not going to be the popular opinion, but I didn't care much for Sam. She felt preachy and had a bit of a sanctimonious attitude about her that was a bit alienating to me. Especially with one of the characters who watched over her being done a bit dirty.That aside, the story was well written and better still narrated.

Wow

I just got into lesbian romance audio books late last year and have blown through 50 in 6 months. This is hands down my favorite yet. The story was gorgeous and intriguing. The main characters complex. The story full of twists and delightfully mysterious turns. And the dialogue and connection between the two leads is the hottest I’ve heard yet. I mean damn. Ecstatic to hear the two short stories that follow up and can’t wait to devour the rest of what McKay has to offer. Thank you thank you thank you!

Couldn't stop listening! Amazing narration.

This book was amazing and what made it all the better was the narrator and her different voices. It truly brought the story to life. Magdeline Nox seemed like someone you could really love to hate but in the end, she was so freaking regal and 100% a total badass. I actually was giggling out loud at all the sass and drama. Give it to chapter 2 and you will be insanely hooked.

So very good! I didn’t want it to end! Damn the Craden and that voice that purrs. She is the perfect voice for the Headmistress.

Decently spicy scenes, good story line.

Good character development. Spicy scenes from the start. A bit of an age gap but not too much.

An incredible journey!

McKay’s stories are always fascinating and her characters captivating! Magdalene Nox is my most favorite character of hers! Abby Craden does complete Justice what was written on paper. The story is gripping and both MCs are so well balanced and they compliment each other. There is mystery, sensuality, humor and romance all in one! This is a must listen!

Great combo

If you like ice queens you’ll love this book. Plus, with Abby Craden narrating it is a winning combo.

Very sweet

I loved that this story had a twist in it! One that caught me off guard! The love scenes are hot and the storyline is sweet!

You had me from the beginning. Abby Craden voice is just so intriguing to listen to. The story line with the twist and turns the villain and finally the two find that each one is each others muse.
