This is the first book in the Mafia Ménage series. Ashly is a college sophomore. She is a art history major. Ashlyn and her roommate would got to the local bar every Friday night. Every Friday night she would try to gain enough courage to talk to the hot bartender Joseph. One night a guy got too handsy with Ashlyn, Joseph stepped in and rescued her. They started dating. However Ashlyn didn’t know Joseph was part of the Mafia. This book ends on a cliffhanger. Michelle Price, Scott Rose and Zachary Zaba did a great job narrating this book.

interesting World Building!

This is the first installment in the Mafia Ménage Trilogy, a Dark Romance. Ashlyn, Joseph and Marco's story is intriguing, filled with danger, and secrets. The characters are interesting. Ashlyn, a college sophomore, is sweet, and naive. Joseph and Marco are handsome, enigmatic, and protective. The chemistry between Ashlyn and Joseph is sizzling hot. I liked Ashlyn and Marco's slow burn. The world building is original and engaging. This is an interesting Mafia Romance, and I can't wait to know what happens next. Michelle Price, Scott Rose, and Zachary Zaba did an amazing job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to The Daddy and The Dom, the next book in the series. #PFPAudio

Wish book 1 & 2 could be bundled

Pretty good listen …character development was ok…didn’t roll my eyes …and I liked the 3 main characters….but …this really didn’t seem like a stand alone book…instead it’s more of “Part 1”…of a book….otherwise the cover is Very misleading

okay, what the heck, I know this book did not just end like that. Dude im so mad just when it was about to get good the book finished, ah!!! I just wanna pull my hair out. I need more. I can't wait for the next book. freaking A 😤😡😠😡

I found Julia Sykes years ago and have been reading her books every since then. This is the first audiobook I've listened to so far. It was another great way to enjoy her writings. This book sets up the story. It's a steamy listen. I can't wait to see how the three grow closer.

Zachary Zaba, Scott Rose, and Michelle Price are excellent narrators. I love that there are three for this series!

Book 1

It took me awhile to get into the book. This is the beginning of the story and in my opinion a lot could have been left out to make the story more enjoyable. Typical girl meets boy in a bar. Boy rescued girl from another boy in said bar. Boy is running/hiding/avoiding his past. It also ends in a cliffhanger so keep that in mind when purchasing.

Well written but it wasn’t my cup of tea. I just had a super hard time getting into it.

I think this is my first read from this author and it definitely won’t be my last! Absolutely loved this one and I’ll definitely have to go through her other books! Definitely recommend!

A bit on the dark side, but sweet anyway

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Audio Copy of this book. Ashlyn is about to fall in love with Joseph - not aware, that he‘s connected to the Mafia.
The narrators did a very good job, putting lots of emotions into their voices when necessary. Though I couldn‘t figure out, why Joseph had two narrators. Very enjoyable.

Sketchy Unicorns

Book 1 of this trilogy is an adventure. Joseph Russo comes off as protective initially, and I really like that. I like Ashlyn Meyers and all of her innocence that she's clung to from her childhood. Unicorns and all. And then there's the dark and brooding Marco with his talent for erotic sketches.

I like the contrasts between the characters. There's also the parts of Joseph that he's been holding back. He seriously needs to let go and let his... err... true self shine.

The intimate relationships between this trio is focused on Joseph and Ashlyn (they are hot 🔥🥵🔥), as Marco scares her. Just a she begins to thaw for Marco... cut to black. I guess I have something to look forward to in the next book. 🤔😄

I listened to and read the book. The narrators, Scott Rose, Michelle Price, and Zachary Zaba, are all new to me. I liked them and look forward to more.
