Narcissist's dream

I feel there are many helpful techniques in this strategy for those that are learning how to use "I" statements and beginning to realize there is pain living in blame. However, I think it is a slippery slope when introduced to an unknown narcissist and codependent relationship, especially if they are actively working and knowledgeable in psychological techniques to attempt bettering their relationship. When the codependent partner says "I feel threatened when you yell at me," it is far too easy for the narcissist to say "Turn it around; I can't control your feelings; you make you feel threatened when I yell." It detaches the narcissist from any accountability and allows further head games resulting in the codependent partner to feel they are going crazy, questioning everything. The narcissist has found the ultimate way to manipulate the codependent in the name of psychology.

Better than counseling

As usual Katie delivers her insight with compassion and helps us gain understanding using our own reasoning.

Byron Katie has transformed my life.

This collection of audio recordings is a great place to start if you're new to the work. I listen to this one again periodically and counted among one of the best of her entire repertoire.

Life changing!

I had to listen to the first few clients before I really got the hang of what she’s really doing. But after you listen to her speak to a few different people and see how she turns their beliefs around, it really starts to ring true. Amazing! Brings peace to my world!

The work is the best discovery I've made

They way she takes these people (and me as a reader) to see angles we didnt want to see, is truely a gift. I believe Byron Kathie is one of our modern day philosophers... she's got it down to the point
