Publisher's summary

Phoenix Books brings together two of Braun's best mysteries in this Volume 2 in the series of 2-in-1 editions, featuring:

The Cat Who Said Cheese: The events at the Great Food Explo in Moose County are overshadowed by the arrival of a distracting and mysterious woman, and Qwill and his Siamese sidekicks investigate a fatal explosion at the New Pickax Hotel.

The Cat Who Tailed a Thief: Prizewinning reporter Jim Qwilleran - along with his lovable Siamese cats Koko and Yum Yum - solve a mystery that arises when a local banker dies under suspicious circumstances, leaving behind a flashy young widow, an unfinished house-restoration project, and a trail of clues as elusive as a cat burglar in the night...

Not George Guidall & Abridged

The Cat Who stories are good cozy mysteries. When read by George Guidall they are REALLY good, a visiting with an old friend next to a warm fire on a cold snowy night. This 2 fer is DISAPPOINTING. Where is my warm hug. 🥺

Great Cats

Love them all!

George Guidall i the best narrator fot these story's.
But i notice he sounds higher and faster in some of them. Do they speed it up? I like his slow deep voice the Best!!!

I love this series of books! I also like the person who narrates! His voice is very expressive.

Edited down to almost nothing

These abridged books really take so much depth out of the writing. These stories are beat when all details are present to give the reader a complete experience, not just finish the story. This is like reading a Cliff's Notes® on the book with bad notes.

These books are like old friends!

These were just the cozy mysteries that I needed to escape the covid quarantines! Mr. Guidall's voices were fun, relaxing and comforting.

Always love having a visit back to Moose County

I love the narration for these books. George Guidall sounds a like what I imagine Quill does, which makes it easy to loose yourself in the stories. The Cat Who Said Cheese is my favorite Cat book, and finding it in a 2 for 1 set was great!

Perfect for a light listen

The cat who series is a magical world perfect for escaping reality for a little while. The characters are compelling without being complicated and the story is mysterious without being suspenseful. 10/10
