Publisher's summary

“Liar, liar, pants on fire.”

The words scrawled on the back of my newest stalker mail makes my blood run cold. I have no idea if it’s the lie I know or one that I don’t.

Since arriving back into Shadow Grove, I’ve been stalked, tormented, chased, and almost killed. I’ve been lied to, repeatedly, by people I was growing to trust.

Liar.

That word haunts me. Someone knows more about my life than I do. Someone is taunting me with answers and teasing me with secrets. Am I desperate enough to fall for more deception?

Archer and his boys made a huge mistake when they lied to me. They thought they could play me, but they’re about to learn that they’ve met their match.

No one stabs Madison Kate and gets away with it.

Liar is a full-length college/new-adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This is a reverse-harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book two of four in the series.

Now I want a marathon of Kody & Steele sandwiches!

It's a good thing they don't mind sharing, because Kody and Steele are my newest book boyfriends. =) I always fall hard for the soft-hearted ones like Green Eyes. His confidence and larger-than-life playful personality was what connected him to me. Oh, and I have a thing for blonds (natural or peroxide). Steele has a quiet reservedness to him, but he's also approachable and can act as a buffer from Archer's insufferable chip on his shoulder.

M.K.'s pathetic excuse for a father drops some truth bombs and disparages her like always. Again, NO ONE stood up for her. The love-hate-push-pull "betraying body syndrome" dynamic strikes! The pyschotic stalker ups the ante with dead things and compromising photos. The sex factor escalates into a menage. The sequence of events at the after party was super predictable. And the story ends on the mother of all cliffhanger betrayals!

Such a tease!

This has a really great tease going through and ends on a rather fun cliffhanger. It’s partially obvious what is coming but there are still chunks that haven’t been explained. Looking forward to the other books! Narration is fabulous! Lucas and Brooke are amazing and have such a talent for dialogue change.

Ho-ly beeeeeeeep

I... I'm Shook. I... don't even have words 😳 OK, get it together *deep breath*

I love this series! Nothing is ever what I expect it to be. Nothing! I'm not even trying to figure anything out at this point anymore because I know I'll just waaaaay miss the mark lol I'm just along for the ride. This was brilliant! Everyone said this series was good, but they were wrong. This is FANTASTIC! I'm already sad I'll never be able to read this for the first time again and I'm excited to do a re-read once I FINALLY have all the puzzle pieces. Amazing! Simply amazing!

Addicting bingeable series

“𝙁—𝙠 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙝," 𝙆𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙨𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙛—𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝-𝙛𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙙𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙣 𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨.”

Excuse me while I fan myself over here…🥵.

Ok. So now that we’ve gotten to know these guys a bit better? Yeah. I’m getting into this series a bit more…😏

Hate s3x as a show? 🔥
2 on 1? 🔥🔥.
And just the utter angst with Archer? 🔥🔥🔥

On top of all that 🌶️, the mysterious stalker has escalated in his (or her!) craziness, and frankly, I have NO idea who it could be! I have suspicions, but it just seems like it could be anybody.

And then the metaphorical bomb we got at the end? (not to be confused with the actual 💣 we got earlier) What?!?

So, yeah, this series is a bit addicting and I will just be bingeing these.

What this book is giving:
✅ Contemporary RH Romance
✅ Duet Narration
✅ Mysterious Stalker
✅ Everyone is suspicious
✅ 1, 2, 3

I am hooked!

4⭐️ 3.5🌶️ 5🎧

I am thoroughly enjoying my reread of this series and things really started to heat up in this book.

I loved the suspense and thriller elements of this book. I can definitely understand why MK sought comfort from the guys despite constantly being hurt by them. But I was getting whiplash from her going back and forth between hating the guys and then ignoring her hate to jump the guys.

Holy cow that cliff hanger. I had forgotten about it and I got me again! I had to start Fake immediately!

Liar

This book picks up where book 1 left off. After Madison ran off after stealing the guys car and getting stabbed. She was hospitalized and she could have sworn the guys were the cause. Naturally she accuses them. Eventually, things go back to normal, school, making the guys lives miserable. All while being stalked. There is a lot of mystery because she is being stalked and someone keeps trying to kill her. Madison has to deal with a lot of unresolved feelings for the guys and not knowing who she can trust.
The audiobook for this was so good. I highly recommend. It is a duet narration, which as you know is the top tier way to listen. I really enjoyed this series, I previously read it before so I knew what I was getting into when I started it again. I still enjoyed it regardless
