Publisher's summary

Spring Break is on the horizon, and if the PSU crew thought last year was crazy, they have no idea what’s in store for them this time.

Adam and Cassie face a whole new set of challenges that will define their relationship once and for all. Ashlei makes an enemy at her internship that could cost her everything. Bear tries online dating while Jess looks for a distraction from her heartbreak.

Erin finally finds someone she wants to fall into. The problem? Skyler had her tongue down his throat before Erin even knew he was on campus.

More secrets. More lies. One explosive Spring Break that will change everything. Buckle up for another semester at Palm South University.

The manipulation, the betrayal, the drama !!!

So as kandi suggested, I did a tandem read / listen of Legacy and Black Number Four and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint!! There was so much manipulation, betrayal and drama in this series, it hurt so much! ALSO, KIP JACKSON??? MR. CHURH??? freaking SWOON. I’m so happy Cassie and Adam are finally getting their chance at love finally. And someone please just give Erin a damn hug. Okay bye.

I am so obsessed with these characters, I don’t want this series to end 😭

All the drama

The gang is all back with even more angst and drama than before. I really love how this feels like I’m watching a TV show. Listening on audio just adds to the whole experience.

Another exciting season at PSU!

I am thoroughly enjoying the drama and hilarity that is Palm South University. I'm enjoying it even more as an audible. The multiple narrators really do add another depth to the story.

PSU 4, brings out a darker side in Erin. It also highly focuses on Kip and Skyler. Adam and Cassie are just a hot mess. Jess is just Jess. And Ashlei is pretty much a SHERO this time around.

I am working through Kandi's backlist as well, so as I was listening to this, I was reading Black Number 4. I finally committed to finishing BN4 first, then finishing this audible. I didn't enjoy "reading" them together. BN4 also follows this storyline in Legacy so closely, I then knew how a big portion of Legacy was going to end. By no means did this stop me from enjoying the story, but it may help one decide which to read first.

I can't wait to see what happens next semester!

OMG FINALLY!!! 💖🥳🤐🤐🤐

2 very important events take place within this season. Ones I’ve been anxiously anticipating for so long… and I can’t believe they finally happened!! 🥹🥹

One is a huge bomb drop - and I can’t believe HOW it all went down 😬 - and the other is… a huge spoiler so I can’t even hint at it 😂🙈💖 Suffice to say… I cried from happiness 😭💖🫠

👀 There is one person I am getting creepy vibes from… I am curious to find out if my gut is correct… 👀

💞 A new couple may be in the making, AND I AM HERE FOR IT!! He is FUN and ADORABLE!! 💞

I loved this installment so much!! I had read “Black number four” right before this, so I already knew some of the story, but I honestly didn’t mind listening to it again under different POVs, as I ADORE Skyler and Kip 🫶 I highly recommend not skipping BN4. It’s amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️

🎧 Audiobook narration, as always, was 🔝✨

My Favorite Season So Far

With the introduction of a new character brings along new challenges for the crew. My heart was so happy and so broken right alongside these characters. The steam is even steamier and drama even more dramatic. Ooffff this is a ride of a season!!

This series keeps me in circles

So I originally read this series without the audiobook and I am slowly making my way through my reread with the audio and I feel like it has given me a whole new experience for the book. I love that you get to see more tests and trials between friends in this book. I love me some Skyler and Bear. I know we meet Kip in this book and I still have my reservations about him but he’s still a great character. The narrators do really well with portraying the different characters and their personalities in the story. I’m saying if you really enjoy college drama, please continue with the series, you will not be disappointed!

Hurt my heart but so good!

This was an even angstier installment than the last one and it hurt to see two of our FMCs at odds. In the end, I felt for Erin and her desperate behavior. I only hope she finds happiness by the end of the series.

Series keeps getting better and better

This series just keeps getting better. Oh, the drama and all the craziness of college!

When this series first came out, I wasn't that interested in it. Not sure why, but with the audiobooks now being released, I'm all on board. I think I actually prefer the audiobook format since it plays out more like the "show" it is written to be. That, and the fact that the 7 characters are all performed by 7 different narrators that sound like the characters they are meant to be (meaning, they sound like sexed up, college aged, Frat and Sorority brothers and sisters).

Legacy returns for spring semester and there is some major changes in characters I really didn't see coming. While I've felt for Erin and just wanted her happiness and for her to find something good to bury the horrible, who she became in this 'season' left a bad taste in my mouth.
With Erin, I have to mention Skyler and her new love interest, Kip. I was digging this and all for someone supporting her and the poker player she is. While she has Bear, she really needed a true partner. It never really seemed like she was as close to her sisters as some of them and it shows with her and her Big, Erin and what she manipulates her to do.
Then there's Ashlei. Man, I wish we got more of her. That's all I'll say, but I really liked the way she handled herself on the professional level. I'm curious where her storyline will go.
Cassie. Her and Adam have had a push and pull from the very first book/season and this one isn't any different. That's what I'll say about that. Their drama is there, but not as exciting to me this season.
And Jess. After last season, I was hoping her love interest would return. BUT, I have a feeling something more fun is on the horizon for her and I can't wait. We don't get a lot of her this particular season, but she's there.
Adam is still in love with Cassie, but he's scared. Come on, boy. It's time.
Then there's Bear. I really wanted more from his POV this season, but he didn't get as much play time. After the bomb that was dropped on him, I have a feeling there will be more to come and it won't be pretty next season.
Overall, Legacy was much more focused on Erin, Skyler and Kip, the new guy. With a side of Cassie and Adam. The other characters were there, but they were more filler and still dealing with their issues in life. Just like how a season on a tv show would play out, some characters had pivotal moments in this season and others helped the story move along.
The narrators are growing on me and I'm really enjoying the way this series is playing out. It's like nothing I've read before because it's written more like a tv show or a series on Netflix or something. But that's what makes it exciting and fresh. The pacing is fun and fast and filled with drama, sex, love, and something new around each corner. Plus, the new characters that are getting thrown in make it more realistic and like true college life. Can't wait to see where Kandi takes next season!!
