Publisher's summary

Artemis Fowl, say hello to Artemis Fowl.

When Artemis Fowl’s mother contracts a life-threatening illness, his world is turned upside down. The only hope for a cure lies in the brain fluid of the silky sifaka lemur. Unfortunately, the animal is extinct, thanks to the money-hungry deeds of a younger Artemis.

Though the odds are stacked against him, Artemis is not willing to give up. With the help of his fairy friends, the young genius travels back in time to save the lemur and bring it to the present. But to do so, Artemis will have to defeat a maniacal poacher, who has set his sights on new prey: Holly Short. The rules of time travel are far from simple, but to save his mother, Artemis will have to break them all...and outsmart his most cunning adversary yet: Artemis Fowl, age 10.

Good story.

I enjoy the Artemis Fowl stories, but I’m not sure they might not give kids some bad ideas. There is some science in the stories, but sometimes the morals are not quite what I would like. And there is some violence in this story.
I love the world and characters Eoin Colfer has created. I would recommend this series for adults, but I would recommend parents read the books and decide if they are appropriate for their child.

Amazing performance

My opinion is that Nathaniel Parker must be the greatest narrator. His voice and performance is spectacular.

This is now read by Nate Parker as advertised!!!

At last - this is now the version with Nathaniel Parker reading. I bought the CDs from amazon.com in the meantime, but I do prefer the audible download, so I'm glad to get this. I had downloaded the Enn Reitel when it came out a few months ago, but I much prefer Nathaniel Parker. So thank you, audible, for getting the Nathaniel Parker version. Please stick with him!

The first one I didn’t love entirely

Still worth reading, but I found myself unable to appreciate Fowl at all in this one, after the things he did. :/

Running out of material

Where does The Time Paradox rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

All of the Artemis Fowl series have been performed amazingly, I just thin the author is running out of material.

Colfer is great

I have read every Fowl book and I am an adult. My son read them until he was TOO OLD haha, and now my daughter reads them. All of us have enjoyed the books. Colfer has a whimsical way of blending fact, fiction, science fiction, and fantasy. He has a knack.
His stories some how always have a twist or two that keep me guessing and that is why I read his books. I am a continuous reader and can rip a story to shreds because of poor flow, grammer, or just plain poor plot. Colfer can keep me interested to the last word and I love it.
I am an adult. I am a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. I read constantly and I read Colfer.

Oh yes and the Time Paradox is a great adition to the Fowl collection.

My favorite narrator

Nathaniel Parker is a highly skilled, outgoing narrator who makes the experience fun and real. Great series, not the best book.
