so far, I Like This Story Best
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes!, now that I am familiar with the main characters and world they live in, it's wonderful to trust the story, knowing it will take me on a fantastical journey of adventure, fun, villains, and victory. I especially liked the way Septimus received training in an area Marcia wouldn't consider, and just the whole tone of the story and plot. It was non-stop adventure and I didn't really know how it would turn out, which is the best fun. I loved the new characters because the witches were scary and so was Mr. Pye. This is a wonderful book collection.

Wonderful Series
As a mother of very young children, I'm always on the hunt for books that interest me, yet are kid friendly. (no cussing, vulgarity, etc) This series is wonderful. If you liked the other Septimus books, you'll enjoy this one as well. The narrator is very good (after getting used to him in the second book) and one that I enjoy listening to. Though I do wish the had kept the original narrator from the first Septimus book.

Wonderfull as all of Angie Sage's books are. I loved all of the funny parts but some parts almost made me cry .I think these books would be best for 10-up.I made this review because over all it's a wonderful story.Please make it so the rats voices are not so squeaky .
