Excellent - Little Gem

My son and I have enjoyed this series alot in the car and at home. Its a pleasure to hear or read something not truely predictedable to the letter. We fell in love with the first book and haven't looked back. We are looking for Sept's new adventures in the next one too. We hope you enjoy this little fun trip into fantasy like we do for our thrid time this year ;-)

A lot of fun

Where does Flyte rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a fun audiobook for young people and the young at heart.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Flyte?

Marcia Overstrand's shoes and her interactions with the Septimus' new "pet".

Have you listened to any of Gerard Doyle’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Consistently enjoyable and irritating at the same time, like the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to most of it on a long road trip.

Very enjoyable

This is a great story for kids and adults! It's not as suspenseful as Book 1, but excellent, nonetheless.

If you love the fist narrator.

I was really bummed when I realized the narrator was different. I didn't like this new guy but I kept listening because I love the story so much and when I got about half way through I couldn't even remember the first narrator. the story is fantastic just like the first book. this narrator though different is still great.

Fabulous

This was a wonderful story with excellent narration. It's somehow both relaxing and exciting. I appreciated that this book did not have the music in between sections like the first book. I can't wait to read/listen to the next one!!!

AMAZING!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

YES Jerard Doyle performs this story very well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Flyte?

The scene where septimus flies the dragon. It was crystal clear, and amazingly interesting

Have you listened to any of Gerard Doyle’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

jerard Doyle is always brilliant. I also liked the inheritance cycle, which he preformed.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Of course. The whole series was that way.

Any additional comments?

It was very interesting. And there is a lot of irony.

I love this series!

I first encountered this series when this was the newest book... read it in one night, stayed up all night reading it. I kept up with the books until the darke one, but figured I'd go work my way all the way through.
