LOVE IT

LOVED IT. Love the story and the characters. Narration was amazing as well. I will listen to this book again.

When reality bites, this is the way to go.

1st. The narration was incredible. Tamika truly draws you in. Toni's writing is re-dunc-ulous. Her descriptions are so wonderfully detailed, You feel like you are right there. I wanted to see all of Iris' designs, walk through the palace, chill on the royal beach, spend a day at the lake...

What A Beautiful Story!

I absolutely loved this story about a woman whose father was a prince. Long story short, since the prince was deceased and the King was ill, the daughter would be next in line for the throne. I encourage you to enjoy this ride in Africa!

Best book I read this year!

This so far is one of my favorites this year! I love how they took everything to prayer. Every decision, both happy & sad. I love the love story & how that was laid out. Even though I was about to figure out who did what pretty quickly the reason behind it had me shocked, I love having a story in Africa & not focus only on racial issues. I seriously love this book & can't wait to see what else this author brings out.

In Search of a Prince

This book flowed and despite its length, it kept you wondering what was going to happen next. The writing and reading performance was so thorough that my mind was mentally walking the halls at the palace, wondering thru the busy market, enjoying the beach, participating in Council Meetings, and other activities that Her Highness undertook. My only disappointment was that it took Brielle over 20 chapters to try to amend with her mother, and that she negated fully grandfather's role in the separation. The choices of a prince were God-awful, and her courage in that process was admirable. The "whodunnit" was an expected twist in the novel, but my suspicion was spot on, but I guessed for a different reason that what was given, which that was also a surprise and well handled thru DNA testing. Book was 13 hours in length and I enjoyed every chapter. During my listening, my comments to self was that there was no editing errors, and that Toni Shiloh could tell a good story. This could be my favorite book of the year, and is definitely the favorite of the 151 books I've read during 2022!
I would truly give this book 10 stars.

Wish this could be a movie

I enjoyed this book so much! Brielle was such a strong leading character and Tomori, the love interest, was dreamy! I only wish that their relationship could have started earlier in the book because I definitely wanted more of that. Hoping to get more books in this world. Would definitely like a book about Iris!

The narration was excellent - one of the best I’ve listened to. The voices were distinct and well done. Will look for more books with this narrator.

Love this story!

Love this book. I love the way it made me feel; reflect on my relationship with God; makes me hopeful; and to press forward by standing on God’s word no matter the circumstances or feelings!

I look forward to reading more books from this author!

Thought-provoking, page-turning, faith-filled

This is one of the best royal romance novels I have ever read. I could not put it down. It has all the feels. Several times I caught myself sighing over the sweet and deep romance, laughing out loud over characters' humorous conversations, and pausing to consider my own spiritual life in light of the messages presented within this story's pages. Never preachy, this incredibly well-written story presents its faith messages through the internal thoughts, actions, and prayers of its earnest heroine who is caught in several unexpected life-altering circumstances and forced to make huge decisions under tremendous pressure and with short deadlines. This heroine is someone you won't be able to help rooting for. In fact, this story is filled with engaging characters that will make you laugh, cheer, and jeer. The plot also takes some surprising turns that make the journey even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this novel to readers who enjoy faith-filled romance you can't put down.

A Wonderful Romance

This is one of my new favorite books. Not since Lori Wick’s “The Princes” have I enjoyed a Royal book so much.

This is a book I will read again—very rare for me.

The narrator did a great job, and I suspect made the book even enjoyable than if I had only been reading the words.
