Full stop, I bought this purely for the narrator pairing. However I was delighted by the story! It was a fun and cute read. Briggs starts off in a bit of a (big) pickle. The solution is to fake date his best friend’s little sister- who is also part of his PR team. It was a little far fetched how *that* was the solution to his legal woes- but hey, I’m here for it.

It doesn’t take long for Briggs and Autumn to act on the spark between them. She falls hard, he falls harder, and they waded through the messiness of their jobs, families, and legal troubles together. I enjoyed the story for what it was- pretty low angst, a little drama, and an HEA wrapped up in a perfect little bow.
Just an FYI, there is discussion of cancer in this book (of a family member, not the main characters) if that is a trigger for you.

This was dual narrated by Christian and Erin- both of whom I love. This pairing was everything! They complemented each other very well and I felt like they fit each of the characters.

Really enjoyed the story

I really liked this book as a pallet cleanser. I will definitely get the new books in this series. Southerner who loves Hockey books, Football books, not so much.

Cute hero and heroine

This was a fun hockey romance with a little bit of drama and a lot of heart. This was a forced proximity/best friend's little sister romance, so if those are tropes you like, this is the book for you. The characters were likeable and I was rooting for them in the end. Christian Fox and Erin Mallon were fantastic as the narrators.

Excellent best friend’s sister + fake dating hockey romance

Great narrators bring the characters to life which is why I love audiobooks!

This is a story about a Seattle hockey player who has a questionable reputation. When he’s blackmailed by someone he turns to a PR firm to protect himself…and realizes that his best friend’s sister Autumn works for the firm. She ends up trying to improve his image by fake dating him due to her long relationship with him and his family. What starts as a ruse becomes a real relationship once she discovers that his bad behavior was being driven by his father’s health issue.

Fell in love with the characters

I started this book not thinking is was going to be anything special but it was perfect for what I wanted! Something not too deep but still entertaining. The characters had great banter and I found myself laughing a lot! The storyline was a bit predictable but I didn’t have a problem with that I just wanted a light hearted read and this was perfect for that!

I LOVE all the trope’s and the scenes, and how there painted out in the book and how the narrators tell it

Cocky Score is a fun, fast paced, fake dating hockey romance! My only complaint is that it was too short! I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of the series. Great audio performances from Christian Fox and Erin Mallon!

Fun hockey romance

Love hockey romances and this one had a nice twist intertwining not only friends but family. Missed an epilogue. Always love those at the end. Good narration too! Just downloaded the second one in the series.

Started out strong but, dragged on and got cringy

Liked the beginning, but even the last few chapters I was like this is way too drawn out and how can they just not state their feelings over and over again. So cringy at the very end…
