Pedro Badrán (Magangué, 1960) es un escritor, docente y periodista colombiano. Su novela El día de la mudanza lo hizo acreedor al Premio Nacional de Novela Breve de la Alcaldía de Bogotá en el año 2000. Para entonces ya era conocido por novelas y recopilaciones de cuentos como Lecciones de vértigo y Simulacros de amor, y por haber cofundado a fines de los '70 la influyente revista literaria En tono menor. Se desempeñó como jefe de redacción en varias publicaciones. Otros de sus libros incluyen Todos los futbolistas van al cielo, Margarita entre los cerdos y Un cadáver en la mesa es mala educación.
