Makes you appreciate the comfort of your home.
Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The hardships these true life characters endured were overwhelmingly and brutal and relentless. One huge obstacle after another. I felt frustrated and angry along with them. The diaries entries really help and are masterfully injected into the storyline. After listening to this it's been difficult finding a new audiobook to listen too.

Incredible story!
Glad I chose to listen to this book. It is a tale of epic proportions that leaves the listener in silent awe of the human capacity to survive and persevere against all odds. Also demonstrates the importance of teamwork and close-knit group dynamics to achieve a common goal.
