There appears every so often a story...
This is a tale of courage and adventure equivalent to any classic adventure book, from the Hobbit to Dune. The thing that makes it even more excellent is it's 100% factual, and read with great conviction and aplomb by the narrator. You'd be hard pressed to find a more thrilling and essential addition to your audible library, regardless of your normal audible fare.

The Dangerous Expedition
I found this story to be absolutely thrilling. This was back when there were still vast undiscovered spaces on Earth, and men sought glory and riches by exploring them. This story of Shackleton shows that throughout this tragic struggle against nature, he and his men kept their heads and did what was necessary to survive.
The narration is fantastic. Alternating between the dire and gloomy description of the bleak terrain and bleaker prospects for survival, and then full of emotion when the crew is attacking any of the many, many challenges they faced along the way. I loved every bit of it.

Amazing
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This was an amazing story well read and written. There were times that I felt exhausted from listening to this because of all the energy in the story. It is long but well worth it and I never was bored with it. This is a must listen.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Endurance?
The final leg of the journey from Elephant Island.
