Story
Culture, church, and life have sold us narratives about who we’re supposed to be as women. If we play the part well, we gain love, acceptance, validation, and significance. When we don’t know which role to play from one day to the next, we sink in insecurity. We feel driven to people-please, downplay, settle, and perform. In all this, we accept less than the abundant life Jesus died to give us. Amanda Pittman explains how we can rewrite our damaging self-beliefs with the truth about our God-given identity by establishing clarity, connection, competency, and conviction.

GOD'S PERFECT TIMING & DIVINE ACCELERATION

Publisher's summary
Brittany Maher and Cassandra Speer, leaders of the social media sensation and ministry Her True Worth, deliver a powerful call to women to break free from the bondage of false identities and discover their true worth in Jesus Christ.
After years of working in the beauty industry, Brittany Maher and Cassandra Speer became disheartened by the false, contradictory messages about what defines a woman's worth. They saw women who were lost and wandering, endlessly seeking security and approval. So Maher and Speer made it their mission to help Christian women uncover their valuable identity in Jesus Christ.
In Her True Worth, Maher and Speer reveal what God intended our identity to be in the beginning, how sin corrupted it, how Christ has redeemed it, and how to live securely in that identity. They remind women that, ultimately, their true worth is found in him—and that's a life-altering, soul-anchoring truth to live in and live from. Along the way, women will learn how to:
- Identify the false messages that are stealing their self-worth;
- Understand how God defines them and how much he values them;
- Embrace what the Word of God says about who they are; and
- Find their security and significance in Christ alone.
By learning who Jesus is and who they are in him, women are transformed by this biblical message that shows them how worthy and deeply loved by God they are.

We are afflicted with spiritual schizophrenia, the disconnect between our "good girl" desire to put Jesus first and our "bad girl" realities that crowd our thoughts and push him out of the way.

There is a big difference between being set free and living free. How do I know what to do with my life? How do I hear God's voice? Maybe the answer is easier than we think. When God led the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land, He gave them a cloud to follow. He led them in an intimately personal, ever-present way one next step at a time. He led them without revealing the whole picture because he wanted them to follow by faith.

If you’ve ever doubted your own value- READ THIS!
You are not some random accident with no value! You were created by a loving God who thinks you are a treasure! This book totally opened my eyes to lies I’ve been told by Satan my whole life. I read this, put it down, and walked away free. But I’ll be back to read all the things I underlined. Great material for women, but honestly, if you are human…this book is for you!

Aligned in perfect time
Glad I came across this title and that the premise is Christ-Centered. It really helped me replay truth during a rough week when suddenly I seemed to be under unexpected distress. Making the decision to choose Christ while my soul seemed to be under attack proved to be difficult alone, so I appreciate the fellowship of the spirit behind the truth through the words of this book.

God Inspired
One of the two most God inspired books I’ve read. The authors intent is clearly to glorify God and not in themselves. In the very down to earth, practical and conversational way, the authors lead you to discover how your true worth is only found in God. I highly recommend this book.
