Great from beginning to end

this story had my attention from start. the characters were good the action and the whole plot was very attention-grabbing I love it

Totally enjoyable. Strong female character. Hunky male character. Story moves along without long soliloquies. Has right amount of suspense.

Wonderful New Idea

This is the first regency romance I’ve read/listened to that deals with addiction as a premise. A lot of listeners left negative comments, so I felt compelled to leave my own. I really enjoyed the narrator and the story. While the idea of the addiction was brushed aside about halfway through, I was still drawn into the characters and their relationship. I would not have minded an epilogue showing their HEA, though.

Starts off quickly but the story gets good. Cheesy concept but I ended up binging it! Good one good narration

this was a good story to help get you through hot chores on a lazy Saturday. I appreciate a strong confident character.

Nice story

I enjoyed the story. I thought the main characters were entertaining even if the plot fell a little flat. Near narrator was great and the intimate scenes were good. I wish the truth behind why he was held captive was a little more intricate but it’s a good listen.

Loved it

Only removing 1 star because the ending didn't feel like an ending. Nothing was resolved, and no one was truly punished for their deeds. It felt like the final chapter was somehow excluded.

Great news twist on Regency Era bks!

I enjoyed the very different twist from normal Regency Era love stories that this book had. Once again a big thx to AUDIBLE for making some available for FREE, included in our membership. I desperately need a way to take my mind off news & would have to go into debt buying so many credits otherwise! Ha! Not true, but it would put a dent in our beloved debt-free living. I tried the free library local audible-type, but think I went thru the best bks in just a few mos. Now I cannot find anything & so Audible cannot be beat! An fyi-this book's a bit steamy 🔥 & has a bit of bondage in 1 bedroom scene, but when the woman says "stop!" (tho' she didn't REALLY mean stop in THAT way-😉) he immediately stopped, & FAST! That made me appreciate him even more - an actual man that cares about his beloved more than just getting HIS "reward!" This man is SO caring for his woman it is very tender.! I wonder if even 1 out of every 10 men in the world think of a woman 1st? Or 1 in every 100? I'd be shocked if there were! Sad for most/all women that men have no idea what makes a woman happy. And THAT is why so many women read these books! 🤣 Highly recommend this.

What??? No ending!!

A good story, but a confusing ending!! It felt unfinished!! Why leave me hanging? Ugh!

Fantastic!

This is a very interesting story. It had a very strong heroine. Plenty of adventure and love. I loved it!
