Great Audiobook
My husband and I listened to Her Final Words on our recent trip, and it was intriguing. The storyline kept you enticed and trying hard to figure out who did it!! We kept guessing wrong, but when we finally found out who it was we were shocked.

SMALL TOWN SECRETS EXPOSED!
Great read but I felt like Eliza could accomplished her ultimate goal much differently than she had and it's a good thing FBI agent, Lucy, trusted her instinct. Otherwise, Eliza's work would all had been in vain.

Good psychological thriller.
A young girl confesses to murder then clams up. FBI Agent, Lucy Thorne, doesn’t believe that she has the full story and heads to the small town to investigate. Somehow this case is related to one of her cold cases. Half truths, a closed-off religious community, another missing girl...and discovered human remains. No one wants to believe that a serial killer has been living in the small town but Lucy intends to get to the truth. The story starts off slowly but glad that I stuck with it! Worth the read/listen.

Excellent voice acting
The narration really made this book shine. Peaked is able to create clearly different characters which I've heard others struggle to do. Could tell each character solely by her acting. The story was a bit slow and consistently stays that way.
