Publisher's summary

Axen fights like a beast. He terrifies me a little. But maybe he’s exactly what I need.

As a doctor, I’m used to thinking logically and staying calm even in intense circumstances, so I thought I was adjusting pretty well to life on Nuthora.

Then, the universe threw another curveball at me.

Not only am I stuck on a prison planet with a bunch of blue-skinned aliens...but I’m pregnant.

When the mate bond flares between Axen and me, it’s more than I can handle. I want to get off this crazy ride and go back to a planet where things made sense, where my heart wasn’t fighting with my head, and where most of the wildlife didn’t want to kill me.

But there’s no going back.

This is the path fate has carved out for me, and despite my fears about the bond, Axen is determined to prove he’ll be a good mate.

Can this brutal alien warrior truly be my perfect match?

Her Alien Beast is a full-length standalone sci-fi romance featuring blue-skinned alien warriors, a heroine whose life is turned upside down, and a growly, protective hero.

If you like sexy aliens, steamy romance, and thrilling adventure, you’ll love this series. No cheating, no cliff-hanger, and a happily ever after guaranteed!

Note: Each book in the series can be listened to as a stand-alone, but for maximum enjoyment, it’s recommended that the series be listened to in order.

sooner

3.5* This had great parts, but I would have liked it better if she had told Axen about the baby sooner (it was chapter 18), but then I guess it wouldn't have been much of a story then. I just felt bad for him.

My very favorite!!!

This is my very favorite of the series. This is full of action, adventure and the very best romance. Elisabeth, our Earth doctor, is one of the leaders of the women stranded on the prison planet but is so caring and brave that I couldn't wait for her story. And this didn't disappoint. But the truly shocking plot twist to me was that she is pregnant by her very last one night fling before she left earth. So when she finds that the yummy and awesome Axen is her mate you can imagine her inner conflict. Axen is one of the best warriors and is so freaking tender and loving that I don't know how anyone could resist him. The narrator is great the story is the very best and the entire series just keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the next.

Sweet & Wholesome!

This is a cute story and an easy listen that will leave you feeling wholesome by the end of it. It follows Elizabeth and Axen over coming the challenges they face living on a prison planet and in their relationship. I found Elizabeth to be an intelligent and strong heroine as she uses her skills to contribute to the village and Axen to be a sweet and patient hero. I liked both these characters since they seem to be opposites but it feels natural that they get together after getting over some hurdles.
I can’t wait for the next book to come out on audible as I am really enjoying this series.

Hello Doctor and Beastie...

I need to choose a better title to my review. Ok this is the 3rd book to the Voxeran fated mated series. The new duo is Dr. Elizabeth and Axen. There was an attack on the village and Elizabeth was almost stolen but Axen stopped it. But, 2 other people were taken by the attackers. Droth sent out others to help try to find the missing. Anyways, Elizabeth and Axen and the rest of the village are trying to patch the demages but, can't keep their distances from one other. they form a friendship. While they are getting to know each other and feelings deepen, Elizabeth realize Aunt flow hasn't visited her yet. Duh da dunnn… But, will Axen still want to pursue her if she has another man's baby???

Narrators

The female narrators were good The male ,not so much. Maybe even super annoying. I really enjoy listening to books and that's that!

Sappy

It’s just too much ‘oh I can’t live without him’ kind of dialogue. Just a wimpy heroine.

Mixed Feelings on this book

I generally like the story, I just would've liked a different back story for Elizabeth because for me it was too on the nose to justify her issues. I mean, there are plenty of women who can't handle pregnancy right away and do some crazy stuff to try and cope. She is already in a powder keg situation so the back story was just unnecessary in my opinion.

As far as narration, C.J. and Kat are wonderful. I just love them. The problem is that the Epilogue was narrated by Karla Serrato and she was OK, but plagued with re-recordings so it was inconsistent sound/voice. Definitely a different cadence and not sure her voice acting is good since there wasn't enough there to know for sure. I'm concerned she will be the female voice going forward and I just hope she can live up to Kat's performances.

Never as good as the first

The readers voice is very nasal and annoying. That could be why I was disappointed with this story. The character should be a stronger personality because she's a doctor but she seems just as weak as Sadie. She is so immature and ignorant it contradicts what she is supposed to be. I fell asleep through most of this one too.
