Beth's story

First, I am required to say that I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review, which is what this is. I have been loving this series of novellas. I feel like I know the whole family now! Alison's daughters have grown up and are now deciding their futures. Patricia has men falling for her constantly, but Beth, not so much. Until Thomas. But Patricia is interested in Thomas as well! Uh oh. Being a novella, things are resolved quickly, which is nice. I highly recommend this 6th book in the Heavenly series by Becca Fisher. She writes so engagingly and weaves a wonderful tale. Stephanie Richardson does an excellent job of narrating. It's nice that she has narrated all of the books in this series so we have that consistent voice telling the story.

A sweet short story about love & sisterly rivalry

Beth is a young Amish woman who has one of those really annoying sisters--one who seems to be prettier, more confident, more social, more attractive to all the attractive, suitable young men in their community. Then Thomas returns from his time in the city, having decided that Amish country is where he belongs.

When Beth and Patricia meet Thomas at a church social, the two sisters both get a surprise at who Thomas seems to prefer. Has Beth finally found her true love? Will Patricia take him away from her, the way she has attracted every young man in their community, whether she had any longterm interest in them or not?

It's a sweet short story, about two young women reaching maturity and reaching for their dreams. A pleasant listen.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from the publisher, and am reviewing it voluntarily.

Emotions of Excepting Herself & Love

Beth, you feel for her, second guessing once again even though married. Good story of how she struggles, with accepting herself and the love she has. Given ARC audio which is good for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Wonderful listen!

Beth feels invisible. Her sister Patricia is always finding dates and has a magnetic personality. But when Thomas comes to town, he is immediately attracted to the wallflower. Now being pushed aside, Patricia’s feelings of jealousy come out and we get some rivalry between the girls! It’s fun, and wonderful to see Beth come into her own. Becca Fisher writes these shorts with love and inspiration. They are feel good novellas and leave us wanting more. Narrated by Stephanie Richardson, it’s a beautifully told story.

Sweet first time romance

This was a short sweet fury time live story. Also about two sisters who don’t get along in the beginning but learn to live one another.

Heavenly Dreams

A sweet Amish romance.

Beth has felt she has always played second fiddle to her older, beautiful sister. When Thomas shows interest in her, will she finally find love, or will Patricia step in and steal the show.

While this was a super short story, by Becca Fisher, I really enjoyed it.

Stephanie Richardson did a lovely job with the narration. A great performance.

Heavenly Dreams

I'm the older sister, but my younger sister was the beauty. My parents always treated us absolutely equally, but I understand what it's like to be the ugly duckling and play second fiddle to the star. I could relate to the main character easily even though she was the younger. This story is understandable from any position in a family of multiple siblings.
