Publisher's summary

They’ll fall from grace to make her theirs.

The blinding light of heaven is no salvation. Its white walls, my prison...its gate, the entrance to my cell. But I don’t belong here. I never have.

Four archangels took me from my bed at the Convent of Heavenly Christos. They chained my hands and feet and carried me on broad backs, with mammoth wings beating the air into submission. They brought me here, because of a secret I cannot remember. A secret so powerful it’ll start a war between heaven and hell.

So, I do the only thing I can. I run. And as I hide in the darkness, afraid of the light, I start to remember...and what rises to the surface, fills me with terror.

Archangel Michael and his warriors hunt me through Harbor City’s streets, but when they capture me, they’ll find themselves caught between love and truth.

Why was I confined to heaven?

And why were they tasked to bring me back?

wasn't that great

should I use the same narrator that did hell is a harem or should I have a man do the guy's voice.

Not my thing

This story just wasn’t my cup of tea. The narration fit the intensity of the story. I listened to the entire book, and I’m just not interested in the next book in the series.

They're no angels...

Heaven forbid the angels find you...or do you want them to? No spoilers here, just pure heavenly sin

Great start to a great series

I instantly read this series when it came out and was happy when I was able to get this book in audio format. The narrator does an excellent job pulling us into the world as we watch what happened after Remi entered into Lorn's life at the end of the Hell is a Harem series.

Unbelievable and ill-defined.

This book just never grabbed me at all. I mostly listened to it as I was doing chores. Normally, I would pause a book to vacuum, or to do something that would make it hard to concentrate on the storyline. With this one, I just kept it playing as background noise. For me, the characters were ill-defined and I had zero connection with them. The storyline was confusing and the plot/romance is unbelievable, even for fantasy. It's an interesting concept, but it's just not fleshed out at all.

As for the narration, she sounds like a-pack-a-day smoker at times (usually for her guy voices). It's not pleasant to listen to and I'm sure it didn't help my enjoyment of the story.

- Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy (angels/demons)
- Reverse Harem
- Slow Burn
