Vampires!! Yum.

This was an interesting storyline! The narrator did a good job bringing the story to life. The black rose spends her life seeking revenge until a wrench is thrown into her plans and the men she loves are what she hunts. It was steamy but still action packed. Looking forward to book two!

The love of Vampires

Loved this book!! Fabulously written reverse harem book with action, adventure and romance. The Black Rose is a uniquely independent character that meets people from her past that are no longer the humans she remember. The twist of a vampire hunter falling for 3 vampires grabs hold and pulls you in. Elena Lawson is just fabulous! Addison Barnes does an amazing job of bringing this story and all its characters to life! Definitely recommended if you love vampire stories. I cannot wait for the next book!! 💕

Intriguing story with a twist!

This book grabbed attention right away. The narrator did an amazing job! The story line moves fast and has some unexpected turns. Can't wait too see how it ends.

Hot, hot, hot

Good book, the mc is great. She a strong female lead and likes to take charge. I’m interested in seeing what comes next.

Really Enjoyed It

I really liked this. The story was interesting and unique. I like vampires and vampire hunters so this was right up my alley and was an interesting take. I liked the characters

The narration was good but I had some difficulty distinguishing between the male characters.

A Great Start!!

Compel Me by Elena Lawson and narrated by Addison Barnes is the first in The Last of the Vocari series.
Ms. Lawson has created this world where there was an "In the Beginning" of how vampires came to be, not just myths of the beginning, and I love her idea of this.
We meet Rose, our FMC, killing a vampire. She then heads to her childhood home, where she hopes to find her childhood friends.
Enter Frost, one of our MMC's. He knows where Ethan and Blake are, our 2 other MMC's, and promises to take her to them.
Rose finds out that there is a bounty on her head and... we are left with a cliffhanger.
I absolutely adore the way you are drawn into this world and only want more at the end.
Would I listen to this book again? YES
Would I recommend this book to others? yes, as long they are of age.
Since this is an RH book I only recommend it for 18+, but its a must if you love vampires.

Good start to a new series

I liked this book. There wasn't a whole lot happening actually. It was really all about Rose reconnecting with childhood friends and them immediately jumping into bed together. I actually don't mind that. What I didn't like was that we didn't really get a back story for anyone. We didn't get the backstory with Rose and her guys so I didn't feel the connection with them.

The narration was fantastic. Addison Barnes did an amazing job!

Good book

Well written book with plenty of action to keep you interested. The main character is strong and doesn't let anyone push her around and the storyline flows well.

Good start to a new series!

Good start to a new series! Excited to see the second book. Only issue I had was that the story parts felt a little incongruous with the intimate scenes. 60% of the book had the feel of a YA novel, but out of nowhere the main character would curse like a sailor or there would be a sex scene.

I just couldn't make it to the end, I didn't even get past chapter 6. And that was pushing it. The story is boring, and the reader doesn't help.
