Wonderful, really kept me invested
The book is dual perspectives which I wasn’t sure how I felt about at first, but very soon I was getting excited and hype when I would hear who each chapter was about. A wonderful blends of story that come together like butter and toast. The elements of character that are brought in through the dragons really surprised me (in a good way). All in all the story does seem like your average fantasy but the twists and pulls on your heart strings will keep you ready to read more. Truly love this book, give it a shot.

Love this book!
I just binged this book! My heart absolutly broke near the end, so I hope it gets figured out in book 2! Funny thing is, I normally don't read books, but happened across this beauty via Tiktok of all places! The book itself is awesome, and the nerration done was fantastic as well! I loved how, even though it was only one person reading, I could hear each of the characters as themselves. Thank you so much, both Lola Ford, for writing this, and Jake Ruddle for narrating! I can't wait for the second book, Shatterscale!

very interesting and intriguing book
this book was amazing I am hoping that the second book of there is one comes out soon it is so interesting and intriguing when saron died it felt like he was my own father that how detailed and how intriguing it was and I love books like that.
