Once there, he is surprised to find that Andrew’s shy, younger sister, Lydia, has grown into a young woman of beauty, wit, and a bit of fire. Even better, the two share a passion for motor cars.

Torn between his dream for the future and pursuing a relationship with a passionate, free-spirited woman intent on creating her own future, Spencer must figure out how to protect his head and his heart from Lydia who is determined to live life to the fullest—and change the world in the process.

Great story, excellent narration

This was a very enjoyable story with lots of good story lines and some angst (good balance). Justine Eyre is one of my favorite narrators. I look forward to the next book!

Charming & funny

I enjoyed this book very much! The author’s clever wit made me chuckle many times and outright laugh several more. While the story itself isn’t exactly groundbreaking — although, in fairness, nearly every book in this genre is predictable but that’s what makes them cozy — the author does a great job of infusing a freshness with humor and sharp banter throughout. The characters are relatable and make you feel as though you would like to know them in real life. A fun, light read. I can’t wait for the 2nd installment.

Wonderful Cozy Romance

It was well written and read. I can’t wait for another book.
I listed as Cozy as it was a clean story. No curse words or sex descriptions.

Fun and Interesting

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story on audible. The storyline was really good and the reader performed it well. I would recommend this to anyone who likes clean sweet reads!

Great Book

I really enjoyed this fun clean book about growing up and living life. It’s a great start to hopefully more to come in the series!

Lovely sweet historical romance

The story was quite immersive and the romance was so sweet. I loved the cast of side characters. I'm really hoping more romances are written in this series so I can find out what happens to the rest of the Wendy league.

The only thing I didn't like is that sometimes it was difficult to tell who was speaking when it was a group full of women or a group full of men. Because the narrator didn't vary the voices quite enough. Mostly it was really good, though.

It was a proper romance, just like it says

I love the clean romance story. I practically swooned. I didn’t love the reader’s inability to affect different voices. It was sometimes hard to follow who was talking until I’d skip back and pay closer attention.

A very sweet story!

This was a very clean and enjoyable listen! The narrator did a wonderful job, and the storyline is very sweet. 

A different kind of story finally!

This is a great story and very enjoyable. It’s so nice when an author can come up with a different storyline. I get very tired of these old romance books being the same thing over and over again. I love this author and will be buying more of her books.❤️
