I am an avid listener. I listen between 75-100 hours per month on my iPhone: 60% fiction to 40% non-fiction.
I love soup!!! Soup is one of my go to things in life. I was very excited to see this book and pre-ordered it. I was hoping for the best and feared for the worst. The worst never showed up.
This book comes with a very complete PDF. I like it a lot when after you listen to a book that has detail, they provide the detail. The authors are not selling nirvana. They are practical, showing their approach in a reasonable light. There is not unneeded testimonials and medical mumbo-jumbo, its clean and a fast listen, especially if you listen at 1.5x, it's a breeze.
The single downer is that the book is sort of a advertisement for their new company called soupure. Personally I have not problem with this. In fact, I consider it a great endorsement that the authors are willing to take the risk on their idea and opinions. They are not selling the book to make money, they wrote the book to build their business. They just have to expand outside of the LA area so the rest of the country can try their products.
I like this book a great deal. I went to Barnes and Nobles and bought a hard copy for reference. I am going to give it a go. After all -- it's soup!!!!!!
