I lost 20 lbs in less than 3 months after listening to this book (& following Vinnie on Twitter) because of the motivational aspect of this book. Vinnie's read adds to the character and sincerity of the work. It's clear from listening that Vinnie is committed to helping people by setting an example & coaching folks up to believe in themselves. Well worth the cost & time to listen.
Vinnie lays out his life story, his ups and his downs and it is quite moving and inspirational. I feel like I have known him for years now. His story has changed my life, hopefully forever! Wish I would have listened to it months ago after the first time I heard him on the Adam Carolla show. Thanks Vinnie!
I can't believe how well this book is put together. Vinnie telling the story adds so much passion. For those who want less story and more instruction, listen to his podcast. This book and podcast have made me realize I could change my ways and follow a NO SUGAR NO GRAIN diet. I can't wait for the next book. Amazing!
This book will provide you with the basic concepts of what to eat to maintain a healthy metabolism. Myth busting on diet and exercise routines and methods, and the yoyo effect. To top everything off a regular mans life story of overcoming childhood issues and serious health troubles to become a real bad ass. Thanks Vinnie.
This book had me rewinding and making clips for personal reference, on the edge of my seat for the next part of the story and laughing out loud! Loved it. Thank you Dean for putting Vinnie together in a package like this; and thank you Vinnie for, well, being Vinnie. ❤️
Fitness. Tips. Bio.
It was a good overall listen to someone's experience in the industry, with tips for everyone from fitness professional to beginner. The sprinkled bio along the way made you see the depth of the human strength to push through many obstacles to succeed just to do so, not for money or fame, but for inner accomplishment.
Vinnie has an inspirational way about him. Taking his advice, from Fitness Confidential and the podcast, I've gone from 210 lbs to 160 lbs in 5 mos. This book is a great listen packed with in formation.
