Yes, because it has extras on the Audiobook
He is very honest about everything, and he does not promise you anything like you can loose so much weight in a month. But he tells you so you can understand how our bodies work.
I had to listen to this several times because it is a very good book. Thanks Vinnie.
I love the NON-Formula for success! Vinnie cuts to the chase and tells us this is not a prescriptive fitness or weight loss book. Instead, he tells the story about how he started and became NSNG guy! If anyone could convince you about saying its not a DIET but a LIFESTYLE it's Vinnie Tortorich!
Not comparable to my knowledge
Vinnie is well known for his personal embellishments and at times diverging into tangents. All good though!! You will get additional anecdotes from Vinnie at every turn. They are great and welcome!
This book will make you laugh! At times you will think to yourself... "This guys a trip". He is, and it works.
I can't wait for Vinnie to come out with another! I listen to his podcast three times a week. It helps keep me motivated! I've actually lost over 60lbs listening to him and Anna on their "Morning Show" LOL
Truth. Intelligent. Simple.
I have a hard copy of this book, which is fantastic. When I found out that there was an author narrated audiobook available, no questions asked I was going to get it. Vinnie is a great story teller and you "get a little something extra" via the audiobook as well. If you're on the fence about getting this, don't be, buy it.
Any Actual fitness or diet advice would have been nice. No Sugar No Grains, Lift free weights... That's IT !

No Dirt, other than he hates all but private gyms and all trainers other than himself can't be trusted and are incompetent out only for money.
And it is very confidential. He keeps all the useful information to himself
The author tries on many occasions to make the narration sound spontaneous with little anecdotes. It doesn't work. Bad Idea.
Tell the Truth.
Its your standard Sports biography all about his life and how great he is. Standard " I was born in a log cabin" stuff and I did it all myself except for the help from some of the Top Doctors and endurance athletes Blah blah.
Its a good listen despite being totally misleading about the content.
This book was more about Vinnie then fitness. He talks about his young life, being in football, being a fitness instructor, sex with customers, cancer, his bike races etc.
What little fitness he discusses items such as this: calories in does not equal calories out. A clear violation of thermodynamics. Do not eat grains or sugar but all the bacon and fat you want (a modified Atkin's diet) which is unhealthy in the long run.
No just his future books!
Vinnie thinks he is a comedian so he continually broke script from his written books to crack unfunny jokes.
Disappointment that I wasted money on the book and Vinnie profited from it.
Don't waste a penny on the audio.
A more fundamented concept. He brings the same already known protein + fat based diet that tones of authors did and honestly there are better books if you want to follow an Atkins style diet (Atkins itself or TNT...). By the way, Atkins himself died of a heart attack, not a good sign.I don't believe the "diet" - or eating style - he proposes is good for everyone I personally tried it several times before reading his book and lost weight in the first 2 weeks only, then the body seemed to adapt and keep the weight. Besides, my skin was extremely oily and I looked older and tired and I literally felt dirty inside. The advice for exercises is also not new, it basically says you get out from it what you put into it.
Maybe I'm just the wrong target since I study nutrition and have read several books on the topic. But anyways, less story and more concept and more practical advice would have been good.
None in particular, although he has nice stories, I bought the book looking for a different content.
Vinnie is a funny guy with nice stories to tell. It'sjust not what I was expecting.
I follow Vinnie's podcasts and social media stuff and love them. I was hoping to get more info on the science of No Sugar-No Grain diet and it's practical application, but this ain't it. This is a memoir. I'm now onto A Case Against Sugar by Andy (can't remember his last name) and Why We Get Fat...I understand that's probably more of what Im looking for. If you like hearing adversity tales or are into long-endurance sports, you might like this a lot. It's just not for me. Still love Vinnie though!
"Surprising, enjoyable and encouraging"
I didn't really know what to expect. I liked the cover and something just called out to me as a middled aged bloke interested in fitness but not fit enough. Enjoyed the personal story and challenging rally cries about getting fit. Didn't expect the illness or the ultra cycling tales but that's what I enjoyed the most. An encouraging book which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Vinnie does a great job bringing the book to life and goes off on some funny tangents while reading the book.
"A stone cold monster of a book"
This was a joy to read and love the book having been a fan of Vinnie for some time and loving his podcast it was great to see that he had a book out and it was a no brainier to get the book. I would listen to it on my many walks and loved it. The best way that I can describe the book is its like 4 great books in one and has some very funny and touching moments there too. I would without reservation recommend the book. Vinnie is a joy you will not be disappointed👍
"A wake up call"
No sugar, no grain. Going to make this a part of my life now and also at least take an ounce of the inspiration of this audiobook.
Listened to this whilst on holiday which is outside of my daily routine. It has woken me up to push harder and to push a healthier lifestyle, for myself, wife and family.

wonderful insightful story, motivational gold dust and not to mention Vinnie is just a wonderful chap. I cannot recommend this enough!

Part fitness / diet book, part autobiography, part an insight into Beverly Hills lifestyle, all delivered with a healthy amount of humor. Vinnie's cosa nostra like accent and breaking out of the book to tell side stories is a real bonus.
This audiobook was amazing and inspiring Vinnie you have help me push on though my own illness and want to achieve great things keep up the hard work and can't wait for you to release another book. If i lived in the US. I would definitely want you as my trainer
Fun and informative. Loved Vinnie's natural narration and a fascinating journey. Also impressed with his professional integrity that shines through.
I absolutely loved this book / Audiobook and finished it in two days, very inspirational and funny at the same time.
I think the podcasts are great too, full of great information and bloody good fun.
"Just as it is!"
As a personal trainer, what vinnie has put into this book is exactly what real life is like. His story is true, inspiring and will leave you feeling you can achieve anything.
