Get a better narrator.
Most likely not if he is reading it.
He miss pronounces words frequently.
I think this book has great information it's to bad he thought he had to read his own work.
I believe what this book preaches, except it suffers from the fact that there is actually not a ton of things to say, but has been inflated to be long enough to warrant being a book. It is easier to take in paperback, because you can skip the repetitive parts, but with audio books, you cannot.
Logical, clearly explained, researched, practical.
Chapter 8 - exactly what to eat!
Joel Fuhrman's no nonsense advice style.
How few calories are in nutrient dense food thus you can eat as as you'd like and are actually eating less calories than a small amount of junk food.
Dr. Furman offers educational simplicity to nutrition that MAKES SENSE! its really difficult not to adhere to every word written, because its THE TRUTH.
I have never read the print version so it is difficult to respond to this question. However, since I have only listened to the audio version of the book, I wish I could download the recipes he was talking about. It seems like in the print version there is a recipe section where people can follow some kind of meal plan. We do not have that with the audio edition. That being said, I think it is easy to come up with a meal plan based on the information provided in the book
I enjoyed listening to this book. It is very straightforward and easy to understand; no medical jargon or complicated calculations of calories. In a way it is common sense, but we have been sold on rubbish for years that we have forgotten the basics. It was good to be reminded of what good eating really is!
Awesome, I'm going to listen to it again. I lost those nagging last 7lbs and feel better then ever. I started eating like this 1 year and 8 months ago, mostly because I'm vain and I work in the healthcare industry. I see first hand the effect of eating poorly
I had to buy the book too, lots of good content
