Everyone read this!!

This is the most important health book of our time. The information is priceless and will save your life from not only deadly disease, but also headaches, stomach aches, fatigue, insomnia. Joel furhman is excellent.

His narration style is not the most polished of narrators, but you totally get used to his mild brooklyn accent very quickly. I listened to another of his books narrated by someone else and found it disappointing to not hear him. There's something very comforting about hearing the doctor himself talk directly into your ear about the most important elements of health.

Best nutrition book in a long time

What made the experience of listening to Eat to Live the most enjoyable?

I have read a good many nutrition books but this one stands out with its footnotes and explanation of what the latest science is telling us! Great research and articulate thoughts put together in an easy to understand way made this worth while listening!

don't buy if you want recipes

It was a very interesting book to listen to although if you want the recipes don't not get the audio part. U was so aggrevated that these were not included because it is a main part of this whole life change.

Lose weight and get healthy

What made the experience of listening to Eat to Live the most enjoyable?

Dr. Fuhrman is right on target. His advice is based on sound medical science. It does not pander to the government or big agri business. I lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks and am eating everything in sight.

Healthy Weight Loss

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I think this is a very healthy and satisfying way to eat. Even if you do not follow the plan 100 percent, there is much to be learned from this great book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Eat to Live?

The one thing I've taken away from this book is that we, as a general population, eat mostly processed foods. Basically, the foods are stripped of their original nutrition and then colors, flavors and unhealthy fats and sodium are added. We've become so used to eating this way, we've accepted diet-related illness as a fact of life.

I feel this book is worth the read. I've learned a lot from this book. Healthy choices are so much easier now.
