Publisher's summary

Harrow continues the story of Freydolf, magical master sculptor, and his young servant.

For two years, Tupper Meadowsweet has kept his promise to be brave and do his best. But during the spring when he turns 13, Aurelius Harrow returns to the Statuary with something other than blocks of magical stone and gossipy tidbits. Master Freydolf will rely on Tupper more than ever as they spend a season dealing with runaways, star-crossed lovers, skittish villagers, and rumors of a 13th magical mountain. But the greatest mystery of all may be Tupper himself, for the boy’s affinity for stone defies explanation.

heartwarming

I love this series so much! The narrators performance was wonderful. I can't wait for the next book to be narrated.

delightful and engaging

baldree does a lovely-as-ever job of narrating this cutesy and emotionally intelligent tale. love him for humor and tone in many a fantasy book with traditionally "high stakes,"
but Harrow by C.J. Milbrandt follows the theme of its preceeding book by focusing on chosen family, on growing up, on nurturing others and small bits of ordinary bravery-- this time with an expanded cast as the family grows!

hard to count off every single piece of adorable or interpersonal gem that comes from these awkward but learning (and fundamentally different from each other) cast of characters. but they all have a need for home and welcome in common, and they all have the mysterious magic of Mauvern mountain and its keeper-- and perhaps some magic from the young Tupper-- common in the search for Belonging.

would characterize this as juvenile fiction 13+ but fit for all ages (parents and young adults with young hearts, too) with no inappropriate themes. Caution to adults, though: Adorable enough to make you cry! ❤️

Fantastic!

Just when I thought the series couldn't get better, here comes Harrow to prove me wrong. I can't wait for the new one to release on Audible.

Another Wholesome Edition

This book carried forth with the same caring, magical atmosphere as the last. It read mainly like a slice of life novel, with small little moments of tension to keep things interesting, but not enough to spoil the mood. Overall it was nearly perfect, although I was sad that very little was done with the black stone once "she" was introduced. It seemed a little odd to me that she all but disappeared from the story, but it seems that she is being saved for the next novel, so I suppose I have something to look forward to now. overall, well done and well recommended.

I love this series!

This is one of the most heartwarming series I have listened to, ever. The character interactions are wonderful and genuine and it's hard not to wish to be there seeing the wonders of the beautiful mountain and joining her residents on their adventures. I'm eagerly awaiting the next in the series, I'm so grateful there are authors to weave such wonderful worlds and narrators to help bring them to life. Thank you so much!

Wonderful

A wonderful cozy fantasy. Low stakes, and very heartwarming. All three books in the series are fantastic

Feel good

This is one of those feel good stories that everyone should listen to in hard times and in between the sad stories. Looking forward to the third installment.

How can I communicate 9000000/10

It's a masterpiece that blends fantasy and a soothing feeling to the soul. It does not dip into either trope I.e fantasy or slice_of_life/heartwarming too deeply. The author takes the perfect amounts of both and blends them into something new which defies the traditional genre of either. I don't want to go into detail as each detail in this story is a treasure. I hope I can effectively communicate that this is a masterpiece and warmed my heart brighter than few things have ever truly done. While also thoroughly scratching that fantasy itch. -- The trade was excellent and I am sure the next one will be magnificent. Thank you.
