Good story and characters, but...
Don't want to spoil the plot. I'll just say that it dwelled too long on certain story lines making the book too sad and depressing. Agree with other reviewers that it was too long and drawn out. I don't need to know every little detail of people going through their everyday rituals, too boring.

Crafting and Growing
I already enjoy this author for her clean and inspirational stories. Add crafting to that and it is even better! I cried and laughed out loud during this book. I too have unfinished crafting projects and I am unfinished. If you enjoy a good story of life, overcoming obstacles and finding the good in rough moments this is a good book even if you don't craft. But crafting makes it even better.

Loved the concept of the story but…
I, like many characters in the book have many UFOs. That’s what got me to purchase it. However, had I been aware that there were so many religious references and prayers I would have passed on it. I have nothing against religion (before someone rips my head off for the comment) I just don’t think the story needed so many religious quotes and prayers. And as another review noted it did get dragged out and depressing in parts. Just my opinion.

I expected to like this story
Assumed that I would like this story since I have loved all the rest I have gotten from this author, but I couldn’t get into it. Way too slow moving and boring. Finally gave up on it.
