Books backwards
I enjoyed both stories however the first one should have been last. If you get this just chapter down and listen to the Losided cake first then go back to first chapter foe 2nd book,

Awesome storyline but beware it’s in reverse!
I loved these stories I have nothing bad to say about them at all the storylines were fun and kept me entertained. But the way they are put in this audible book the second story plays first. So essentially you are “reading the back of the book 1st” in a bit of a way. It’s very frustrating after reading the first story and then realizing you just heard the last of the story and you have to go back and find out what happened in the beginning.

These two stories that tied together were great. I thought the stories were well write and had a bit of excitement going that kept me listening. The narrator did a great job of readying the story and making a vocal distinction between all the characters.

It’s OK, sweet story but narration leaves a lot to be desired
Hi I enjoyed the story, it was a simple Amish tale which is what I wanted after reading an apocalyptic book!!
However in the first book the narrator seem to just be reading not becoming the characters. In the second book I think she did much better, and her voice overall is pleasing but she would get the main character names mixed up —Alma and Thelma —sometimes!!!!
Also “thank you” is not pronounced donkey in German.
