Publisher's summary

A secret society leads to murder

The Gargoyle Club is a secret society in Oxford's Cardinal College, where privileged young men from important families get drunk and rowdy and cause trouble. Rafe, as a member of the club, is not impressed with these newest Gargoyles.

Meanwhile, a social-climbing high school friend of Lucy's is in town. Is she really after an art history degree, or is her purpose more devious?

When someone dies during a club dinner, it looks like more than boys behaving badly. It's up to Lucy and her undead knitters to solve the crime.

From a USA Today best-selling author. This is part of the Vampire Knitting Club series, but each book can be listened to as a stand-alone. These books are free of swearing and gore and packed full of quirky characters, magic, a touch of romance, and a lot of fun. Join the club today. Being undead not a requirement.

pretty good

Garters and Gargoyles is entertaining but a the pacing is a bit slow. It's okay.

Love it!

Love this series. I really enjoyed this book. Finished it in one day. The ending was a surprise to me, which was so much fun! Can’t wait for the next adventure.

Finally Raif tells his feelings! I had anticipated it but I wasn’t ready to hear it. Surprise!

More! More! More!

I look forward to new books in the series after I binged on the first 8 or 9! It’s a great easy, fun read after you have listened to a few heavy historical pieces or dramas. I’m not 100% sure the author is a knitter or crocheter though. There were a few references that I question. But who cares! It’s a fun listen!

Predictable with little fun

It was okay. Not really any different than any of the others. Enjoyed the performance, enjoyed the characters. Didn't really enjoy the journey this time around

Is there going to finally be a wedding or Romance?

Lucy the witch and Rafe the Vampire. Quite a pair. But Lucy, needs to learn her witchcraft powers. This is drawn out since the 1st book. Only hanging on for the hopefully delicious end. High marks to Narrator Sarah Zimmermann. She is great with so many accents.

better story

the beginning was really weird, it almost felt like it was an abridged version, first she knows nothing of the gargoyle club then knows about their upcoming dinner. but the actual mystery was enjoyable and we FINALLY have some momentum with Raif

One of my favorite series

Lucy and her cast of knitting vampires are the best! A yarn store in Cambridge with college’s around, academics and knitting go together with sleuthing. Rafe is a vampire, but he’s a wonderful man, and he’s very serious about Lucy as well as protective.
A dinner party with alcohol and a group of young men, what could go wrong? Murder of course. The why’s are a confusing, but Lucy is smart!
Cant wait for more!

WOW

SO, YOU MUST READ IT TO THE END TO UNDERSTAND THE "WOW," BUT THE READ IS GOOD, AS ALWAYS WITH NANCY WARREN'S COZIES. SADLY, I NOW MUST WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.
