A fun romp
This is a fun vampire novel even if you haven’t seen the original film. If you have seen it and we’re a fan, this is a real treat.
It adds texture, gives back story on Jerry and his ghoul.
It maybe also explains what Evil Ed did that sets the events of the (now hard to find) sequel, “Fright Night 2” in motion.
Is there another book on the way? I hope so.

Great story with a few editing/mixing issues.
They went back and re-recorded a few lines to cut in, and towards the end of the book those moments pulled me out of the story. a little more finese needed on the editing/mixing. Other than that it was a lot of fun! and yes Chris Sarandon narrating!

Having Chris Sarandon narrate was such a nice touch. Movie was fantastic and kept close to the book. Absolutely loved listening!
