Aleks

After my divorce, I’m ready to have fun, date around, and not get into anything serious. Then I meet Gabe Crosby, superhero firefighter and a disgrace to the Crosby name. He doesn’t even like hockey!

Yet, there’s a draw to him I can’t deny—something I haven’t felt since my teens. But that’s the problem. I have no idea what dating is like, let alone how to do it with another man. He makes me flakey and nervous, and I’ve never been that guy.

Gabe turns me inside out and upside down in the best possible ways. I only recently became single, but if I continue to chase after him, I might not stay that way for long.

Gabe

When I meet Aleksander Emerson during an emergency call-out, there are three things that catch my attention: his sexy tattoos, his kind eyes, and his drunken offer to have my babies.

He’s new to Seattle and recently divorced, so I take him under my wing–and under my sheets. I’m showing him what the world of hookups is like, only those hookups turn into sleepovers and dates and public displays of jealousy.

Aleks is in his casual era, and I’m working my way toward settling down and starting a family. What the two of us have is fun, but not a good idea permanently.

Too bad Aleks has already set my life on fire.

Another great story and narration

Another reliably enjoyable experience with a great story and great narration to bring it to life.

Slow down

Love this book! 🌶️ Scenes were definitely on point and the storyline was great. The only thing that annoyed me about the audio is that during the 🌶️ scenes the narrator seemed to rush through them like it was a long run on sentence. Slow down a bit. It’s meant to seem frantic yes but you could barely tell who was saying what because it was read so fast.

4.5/5

This growing, shared world that the authors have created is highly entertaining. The characters are funny and so relatable. I immensely enjoyed watch Aleks and Gabe fall in love surrounded by favorite characters from prior books and catching glimpse and falling in love with characters for future books. The authors seemed to have set up the next book in the series very smoothly and also creating a perfect segue into a standalone. These books are filled with humor, heart, and heat which are all of my favorite things.

Zing!!!

This book was so good. I got a lot of looks while cracking up in a Target bathroom while listening to the fire scene. My face hurts from how much this book made me smile.

The collective strikes again!

I just can’t with these two authors! Just when I think they cannot top the last book, they do. They had my attention from the first chapter! I loved how new characters were introduction and the shoutouts to previous books! Jay Jackson fan! A teenage girl at a Harley Valentine Concert! Not to mention everyone in the collective and Big Bertha!

Aleks recently divorced and looking for his zing. Gabe, just moved into his own place, trying to be more independent.
Aleks and Gabe’s story perfectly fit them. It all started with the collective, a trip to a thrift store, a fire, and stripp…firefighters.

Another winner!!!

Aleks and Gabe were fantastic! From their not so cute meet cute to the very end, their banter had me smiling or laughing. This was a low angst book and the “issues” were resolved quickly and weren’t drawn out. This was a great addition to the collective and their cameos, as always, were epic. It’s great to see both Aleks and Gabe’s found family shenanigans and how they fit in so well!

Ok so

Ok so this wasn’t a bad story but it was unexpected. Kinda wish it was different characters but it wasn’t bad. It was sweet. After finishing the series I think two out of four books were unnecessary. It wasn’t a bad read but kind of blend and predictable. But I did enjoy the MM hockey/ sports Romance.

Aleks & Gabe

I have been loving this series, and the latest book is no exception. I absolutely loved Aleks and Gabe’s story! Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese really knocked this one out of the rink. *wink wink* Aleks, a newly single NHL player thinks he’s going to take the single life out for a spin. Play the field, try his hand with men now that he’s realized he’s pansexual. He thinks he’ll be the new playboy of the NHL. Until he meets Gabe. Gabe, a firefighter who responds to a fire call at Aleks’ house. Who finds not only Aleks, but the majority of the active Collective, where hilarity ensues. As much as Aleks thinks he’s ready to go full steam ahead, he winds up putting the breaks on with Gabe before they really get started. Thankfully Gabe understood where Aleks was coming from and offered all the patience for him to learn the ropes of exploring being with a man. I loved how these two got to know each other and all the fun they had together. All the firsts (holy hotness all those firsts!), Aleks teaching Gabe about hockey, and Gabe refusing to learn. I really enjoyed all the interaction with their respective friends. I also really appreciated how when it counted most they were able to open up and be real with each other. To tell you I laughed through the first three chapters would be an understatement. It started off with as such great fun, and to be honest, it never stopped. Between Collective cameos, getting to know Gabe’s firefighter friends, and Aleks and Gabe finding their happy ever their story isn’t one to be missed!

Off the charts!

I laughed so hard a few times. These 2 are possibly a new favorite book couple! The supporting characters are so good! There are a few whose stories i need to know, so I seriously can't wait to see who is next. I have a good idea, but I will be "patiently " waiting.
