Unexpected twists!

New author to me. I enjoyed the story and the mystery. The narrator was okay except for most of the men having gravelly voices. It was hard to tell the difference between the earl, his uncle, his cousin and the solicitor. However, it was a good listen. And it was a clean read.

Entertaining easy listen

I enjoyed the story, and the performance reader. It was not one that held my attention riveted, but I did enjoy when I listened.

i enjoyed this story and even wrote down some quotes I want to remember that were included within. It gets a perfect score from me. The story, five stars. The performer, Bravo, five stars, Overall, five stars. I will be looking for more books by this author. I loved the mystery written in that was not predictable and the wholesome characters that were caught up in situations that kept me guessing the whole way through. Bravo Author!! More, More, More!!!

A riveting unpredictable plot

A wonderfully woven intrigue of Cinderella meets Jane Eyre that keeps you guessing from beginning to end. Quotable quotes. Wholesome Christian wisdom. A favorite to read again and again. Loved the narrators Irish accent parts.

love at first chapter ❤️

Have you ever began a book and within the first chapter you knew you would Love it and it would become a favorite? This book is that for me. I fell straight away in love with this story! Normally I try to listen only at work so that I have at least a couple of days of listening. With this book it was hard to stop listening once I clocked out. The storytelling captured me as did the love story that it encompassed. My heart was riveted, there were tears and smiles and angst at what would become of the protagonist and her hero. The sentiments of trust, love, integrity and faith woven throughout sealed my admiration for Raina and Sully. This was simply the most enchanting, lovely, well written modern day book I have ever read!

A Twisting Tale of Enduring Love

This audiobook was 'included' in my membership and was a total gem. Raina the rag girl lost her true love to the sea, so when a life-changing opportunity came up she took it. Without spoiling anything about this story, I'll just say soaring character arcs in either direction and a story that kept me listening to the wee hours of the morning. The narration was excellent and I highly recommend this new favorite.

Great, but..

The story and performance are great. Just a heads up that the readers voice is soothing, and I can make you fall asleep. If that's your goal, great! If it's not, then it's not so great. I'm not knocking off any stars because it depends on your preference.

Wonder Story!

I’ve enjoyed Joanna’s previous books, and this one is also excellent. She kept me guessing all the way through. Wonder characters and fascinating plot! Highly recommended,
