In 1944, American naval officer Lt. Wyatt Paxton arrives in London to prepare for the Allied invasion of France. He works closely with Dorothy Fairfax, a "Wren" in the Women's Royal Naval Service. Dorothy pieces together reconnaissance photographs with thousands of holiday snapshots of France - including those of her own family's summer home - in order to create accurate maps of Normandy. Maps that Wyatt will turn into naval bombardment plans. As the two spend concentrated time together in the pressure cooker of war, their deepening friendship threatens to turn to love.

Great story
Loved the story line! It’s a sweet Christian romance. The development of the characters was perfect, and the storyline kept me interested the entire time. Would definitely recommend this one.

Great Story and Narrator
Would you consider the audio edition of With Every Letter to be better than the print version?
Yes it is better than the print version because The narrator hooked me from the very beginning. I couldn't wait to find out the outcome of the chracters stories.This audio book is an excellent listen.
What did you like best about this story?
The romance. Suspense and the friendships between the chracters
What about Kate Rudd’s performance did you like?
Everything! She made you fall in love with the main chracters. She made you feel every emotion and conflict that arose in the story. I would listen to her again.I hope she will narrate the other books in this series.
If you could take any character from With Every Letter out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Vera I wanted to find out more about her life and her backstory.

With Every Letter
With Every letter is such an uplifting book! It brought back many memories from a time during the Vietnam war when I was one of those letter writers ! We were given names of service men during the war with the hopes to boost their morale . Two of those men came to visit my family and we share a wonderful meal together . My family became theirs during our correspondence . They said it have them great courage and hope during those long hours in the war zone . I sent them prayers and scripture as well so they knew God was watching over them .

Amazing!!!
Wow! Sarah Sundin. What a great writer and a fabulous story. Deep, funny, inspirational, dramatic! I loved it!
Kate Rudd is, perhaps, the best narrator I've heard, and I've heard some excellent ones!!! Everything was amazing! Her tone, her voice inflections, her acting, her characters' voices, her passion, and her depth of emotion displayed. So many characters, and so many situations to portray; and she did it wonderfully!!! Thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

I Didn’t Want It to End
Such a beautiful story of love that goes beyond the expectations of the world. Sarah Sundin is one of my favorite authors. I have read or listened to many of her books. I really didn’t want this one to end!

Flies Above the Crowd
I can’t express how thrilled and blessed I am by Sarah Sundin’s stories (and I’m hard to impress;). Beautifully crafted, wonderfully worded, just enough heartache with just the right ending. I love historical fiction and hers is superb-researched and relatable.

unexpectedly religious
Any additional comments?
One thing that struck me was that the main characters are very religious. It is something that comes out in almost all of the narratives. Some may like this aspect, other may not. I think it's prevalent enough that I was surprised it wasn't mentioned in the description.
