Formulaic Thought Experiment
Listened to this for a book club. While it did keep me intrigued, it felt like someone strung together predictable life events to create a picture of a boring old average middle aged life. The result of these sets of circumstances was presented as almost inevitable. The listener spends the entire book just waiting for the punchline at the end. The rest of it is all a thought experiment in what it would be like to lose the last 10 years of your life.

Excellent book!

What I forgot
Got a little boring at the end. Fell asleep and had to replay last few chapters to understand what was happening. Was it a dream? Good but just lost interest towards the end.

Such a joy!
Liane writings make you feel like the book is about you. She draws you into all the feels. You can’t not get angry, cry and laugh with the characters. You feel frustration and pride as if in your own chest. I love love love her books!

Great story and performance
I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. It made me think about my life and how everyday events change things and people around me. I liked all the characters - they all seemed like people next door who I can run into at the school or local supermarket. It made me feel more connected to my community. This was a wonderful book and I would definitely recommend it to others.
